also, I’m coming from React Vapor 2s. Tried on TW for 1 foot and RV2 for the other and walked around the house. I was a little underwhelmed at the React. Not really as cushy as the RV2s or my Epic running shoes 

 

based on the mythical comfort in the ZITs of React + Zoom, I had hopes for these 

Here you go. Black 17 and White 71 comparisons. Black 17’s are real leather it seems vs the 20 plush synthetic faux leather. 
 

20’s are certainly more subdued. No carbon sole shank like the 17 or the colored TW accents. Hope this helps.

Agree. Couldn’t be happier with them. Certainly, could add a few bits in the next gen to make them the ultimate TW Zoom based shoe, but all in all it’s nice to have a conservative simple option like these with Nike Golf going running shoe heavy in their latest offerings.

Hopefully we will get another updated TW shoe down the line.  Seems like Nike has put the TW shoe releases on the back burner for whatever reason.

It would be great to see thats for sure and as long as you have TW sticking with the Zoom midsole from the TW17 redesign, then to 71 and ofcourse the corresponding 19/20 Tour Premier, we should be ok. 
 

I wasn’t long ago that the TW shoe was the pinnacle in materials and technology innovation. Maybe Tigers own comfort in the latest versions is to blame with the envelope being seemingly static in nature. 
 

Would be nice to get so PE and NRG editions of this TW shoe for the majors and maybe the “Frank” inspired version.

The TW71s have that little extra pop TW20 is missing. Love the detailing of the SP8s on there. That's my goat tiger shoe.
 

I always wore Tigers and they lost me with the straps and then the fast fit. I switched to LC4s and then RV2s 

 

I got TW20s and Roshe Tours on close out for $60. Deciding which way to go forward.

My memory on the TW71s with laces is blurry. After seeing yours, I am disappointed I didn't buy those in the moment.

 

I remember trying on the fast fits and being disappointed. When did the 71s with laces? Was that a whole separate model year release on a limited emergency release when the straps flopped?

Thanks and agreed. From memory it was 2017 when the strap TW17’s came out and Tiger wore them in many pro-ams before his “real” comeback. Then the 71’s came out and Tiger only wore those so the 17’s were effectively DOA. I actually have every color of the 17’s and they only needed the laces cut out to be perfect. That system was cumbersome and I essay as the straps secure the foot as good as anything. I still play and like them lots. So from memory the recent history starting at TW15 is basically in this order:

 

TW15 grey, black, navy, and red (during back code red time)

TW11 white, black...I love this OG ZOOM power channel sole. Was a heavier shoe but the materials were world class. (Tiger went back to these for stability in his swing changes with Cuomo) 

 

TW17 white, black, grey/pink, grey/ghost green (lots of Hatfield and Tiger R&D went into these which set up the future of the modern ZOOM sole)

 

TW71 white, black (blacks for some reason were only available size 9 and larger for some reason. Tour Premier same sole around this time with many NRG and PE models, TW71 also had a couple PE camo one and a bronze swoosh on white) 

 

TW71 FastFit white, black...good shoe but ran really small to size. (Tiger never wore these anywhere) 

 

TW20 white, black with hopefully more to come (Frank PE edition has been worn by TW already)

I hear you. They are really hard to snag. Every once in a while they show up on the bay. Same with me on the 13-15’s (see pic) but after watching the R&D video with Hatfield and Tiger on the 17 and he was playing it, I transitioned. Fell in love with the LC4 Lunar sole and the ZOOM 17 mid sole and traction. Really neutral and comfy with out being too running shoe like which is funny as a fellow sneaker head my AM1 collection is pretty robust. Just not for golf. Anyway the 20’s are VERY similar to the 71 lace. Just a bit nicer synthetic leather. It’s softer and seems like it won’t crease as bad. Also, the React is underwhelming and may only 2% more comfy than the phylon or what ever was used before. Hopefully we get the “Franks” and maybe a masters version. Fingers crossed. Hope this helps.

Played 18 with a cool 40degrees 7:58am tee time. Damp dewy ground conditions and traction was never an issue. Several moments where they just felt, well comfy. Very friendly shoe and require zero break in time. I’ll confirm as I’m walking 18 tomorrow.

been pacing back in forth in my home office going between Roshe, RV2, and TW20. Slowly appreciating the zoom and flatter more stable shape.

Confirmed after walking 18. TW20 are great shoes for a non running style gamers that don’t hurt the feet. No break in required. 
 

Very comfy and stable. More of the same for those who have gone to love this version Zoom golf midsole and traction plate.

Probably...and for sure for working out with HIIT or treadmill but for golf, I prefer the feeling of neutral toe drop (or very slight) for a golf shoe for my swing type vs running style toe drop.  I want as neutral as I can get to really pour on the weight shift in my feet.  It pains me to type this as a sneaker head, I have been collecting AM1 since they came out for casual and gym time...just not for me with golf swing.

As golfers, we all get our “feels” defined by experience. For me, when something works great, I am all in and it frees my mind to play golf...almost like removing a variable (same goes for equipment and shafts). 
 

I have to admit I never played on course with ZIT and only tried them on. They are probably top 3 all time comfy for Nike Golf. Just the wrong shoe for me.

The TW 20 are way more comfortable than the ZIT for me. I got my whites in a couple of days ago and they look and feel great.

played my first round in them. very pleased. comfortable, supportive and easy to wipe off. the only negatives i have at this point: the tongue and sock liner are going to get very dirty in the summer when its shorts and low cut socks. and the laces are not the easiest to cinch tight. have to be careful tightening right around  the area where the loop in the tongue is. cant pull the laces up to tighten like you would for shoes with normal eyelets if that makes sense. if you do, i am fairly certain you will rip that loop after a couple times.

I do not agree on the sizing comments, as I wear 11 in almost every Nike sneaker and golf shoe, and in these, I needed 11.5 (or 11W, but I got the former). That said, love love love this shoe. So comfy, and really like the near zero drop. Scotty Scheffler still wears them I guess for a reason ;-). Been looking for a back-up for a while now, and seems Nike just did another run of these and are up on the site as we speak. Just grabbed another 11.5 (said "only a few left"). Get on it!

Last year the TW20 were listed as having a 2-year waterproof guarantee but now nothing is listed online. Anyone who has the shoes did you get any guarantee in or on the box?
