What does everyone use for their 100-110 yard shot

My 54 wedge on a full shot is 110 when everything comes together. Taking some off my GW can do it but I’m not as comfortable with that shot. I try and stick to full or half shots with my wedges as I can repertoire them pretty consistently. Distances for full/half respectively are roughly:

50* GW - 125/80

54* SW - 110/65

58* LW - 95/45

In perfect conditions that is my 45 degree pitching wedge at what Dave Pelz calls my 9 o’clock position. On certain occasions it is also my 50 degree gap wedge

PW is a good 108.5 yard club for me -- it is a MP-20 MB hitting a Titleist PV1X

 

When I was younger it was a Gap Wedge 52

Full 53 gets there to 110 but its probably gonna back up a bit. Rather knock down the 46. Depends on allot like everyone else said.

Stock gap wedge @ 50° = 100 yards (sea level)

Stock pitching wedge @ 45° = 110 yards (sea level)

50 degree gap wedge the majority of the time, but sometimes my 54.

Grip down to the shaft on 44 PW with an easy swing, 50 hits it as well but tend to get a bit heavy giving it a rip if I'm going for anything as far as 110. I like an easy 50 for 90-100.

Usually that is knock down GW range, but depending on other variables like others have said, it would range from PW-LW

Standard 50 goes 115, so ease off a bit for 110. But as others have said, depends on conditions.

After returning to the game after a 25+year hiatus, I have discovered I am ten yards shorter on all my irons.

PW 49° used to be 120 yds.

Now it's 110 yds.

100 yd shot is a ¾-⅞ PW.

I like knockdown LW for 80-90 lol. I seem to hit my knockdowns only 5-10 yards shorter than my full swing, but that's not a terrible thing when you're in between clubs.

No wind, no elevation, 100-to-maybe-105 is the 58 degree. Alternative is 54 degree (and some begging).

Haha most of my shots are blade shots now a days. Nothing like a good ole, blade a chip across the green then blade it again back to the original spot so I give up and take out a putter and putt halfway up the hill.

50° for me typically. I like flighting the ball instead of hitting moon shots. More control is where it's at.

My 56 tops out at 110, avg probably 105... but I feel much more comfortable flighting down a 52* at about 3/4 swing. After PW I try to avoid full swinging a wedge

I’m not surprised if you’re hitting them that hard. I don’t use my 60* for full shots, I use it up to 60y only. My 64* is pretty much for trick shots when nothing else will do. I’d much rather pitch my 54* on a half or 3/4 swing than try to belt one of the higher lofts, almost impossible to get a consistent distance from the higher lofts.

Depends on the situation. 100 yards is a full 58 for me, anything more and I opt for the 54 and choke down, 3/4 or punch. Will even take a soft 48 at times depending on wind and green/fairway conditions.
