Who bought a Mizuno ST200?

....and what shaft did you select? What's your sp, and are you happy with trajectory? The Mizuno US site is seriously lacking. Mizuno Europe details the shaft selection, however the trajectory they state for several shafts contradicts the trajectory Fujikura and Mitsubishi note on their sites for the same shaft. Mizuno often states lower trajectories. I'm interested in what WRX'ers have found. Outdoor fitting may be needed as I trust my eyes, but that limits testing at this point in time up north. Thanks.

Kk xm60 but the blue board is good all depends on your swing, great driver. FYI you are spot on with your comment on website European site much better.

I am in the UK and waiting for my ST200 driver and three wood to arrive. Fitted into the Diamana blue 64g stiff for both clubs. Tested the driver into a 30 mph wind and the flight was awesome. Liked the Maverick and Epic but the misses were much worse than the Mizuno. Next day I played 18 with the demo, again in a 30 mph wind, on a cold day and on a tough course and shot 4 over off an 8 handicap, that was with new ( first time out) 919 HMP, yes I’m now officially a Mizuno whore. Back to the driver I didn’t have my best swing off the tee but jeez was it forgiving. Had both weights fully forward so may tinker with them when it arrives. Never owned a Mizuno driver but this one was a no brainier.

I really liked the GT. Want to try it with different shafts, but both my local stores were slow to get the demo stuff setup.

I think it’s competitive with anything in on the market, but will probably be a fall pickup for me from the used section.

Tried the standard model this weekend with the BB Ltd shaft. Forgiving, felt great, and was as long as the rest. Love the fact that it is only 45 inches and D4 standard.

Bought the ST200 after a demo day at my local driving range. I was fit to the Atmos Black 6x. I would say my swing speed is in the 112-115 area. I gamed the ST190 with the same shaft last year after a fitting at Second Swing in Scottsdale. The flight on the ST200 when I put a good swing on it was flat and in the window I like to see. Received it Friday and took it to the range yesterday and was seeing similar performance. It's set at 8.5 which is where they had me hit during the demo day. The distance of the ST190 was outstanding, but hitting the ST200 I like the feel of the new face and since they say it's more forgiving I'll take what I can get. I have not been on any launch monitor with it.

I have a ST200 9.5* on the way with the Diamana D+ Lim 60s. It's a shaft I'm familiar with, so I went with it. I'm a 101-103 mph swing with an average attack angle of 1-2* up, and 3-4* in-to-out. I will post a comparison with my Mavrik 9* Ventus Blue VeloCore 6s from my GC2 once it comes in.

I bought the ST200G w/a Blue Board in Stiff flex. Swing speed is around 105. Launch & spin fit me the best with this shaft. Played 18 with it over the weekend, it has a nice flat trajectory that I prefer. No balloon balls as it was very windy.

I bought a ST200G, along with a ST200 5 wood. I went with the Whiteboard(Stiff) in the driver while opting for the Blueboard(Stiff) in the 5 wood. My swing speed is around 105-107. This new setup beat out my current G410 Plus and the SIM. I liked the driver so much, I picked up the 5 wood with the slightly higher launching BB.

I’ve been dead set on a SIM but this has caught my eye. Long been a mizuno homer despite my deep forays into the wilderness of JDM equipment OCD.

The regular 190 was a hook machine for me. Set up closed to my eye and despite trying several shafts it just wasn’t a fit. I’ve seen some say the 200 is more square to open?

I don’t need the G as I am no longer a high launch/high spin player off the tee as I have worked to improve my swing. So I just don’t really see a need for it. Also I don’t like buying heads and then having to adjust them all over the place. I always feel like when I have to crank them way up or down or move the weights to extreme locations that the balance and feel for the head changes and I don’t swing it as well. Maybe just in my head but it seems a lot of tour pros end up in the less adjustable model too for some reason.

I haven't been on a launch monitor with it, but it feels, sounds and performs (visually) as good or better to me

bought used st200 5 wood in store. I thought I would return it after a few round but I am strongly thinking about replacing my trusty 3wood to ST200. face feel, when hit in any shape of form, is sooooo good. !!!

Went with Smoke Yellow on an ST200g w Added extra weights to each track, and it’s just so dang smooth.

Aside from feel, if you like a more traditional look 200g is where it’s at.

Its nearing end of season and its almost time for my annual upgrade my driver for less than $100 ?....currently in the st190 with atmos ts black 7x. Thinking about st200g and sim when the 2021 line comes out. Looking for more fade bias, tend to overdraw it a little too much at times.

 

Any more comparisons would be great, thanks!
