Flynn Alto v Velocity Irons

Anybody have any experience with the difference between the two models? Are there significant performance Improvement between them?

I am leaning towards Flynn over TS3 but don't like the thicker Topline look and sole of the Velocity. Do the Alto have thinner top line and sole?

The question of comparing Velocity to Alto still isnt covered. I am wondering what and how improved and different they are.

My daughter played the velocity then at a demo day at worlds hit the ts3 it was a lot better. Ordered a single 8i to test on trackman with her coach, better spin, better launch, better distance. When alto came out compared that again not on a trackman but still uskg ts3 steel came out better. I will say I like the look of their wedges a lot better than uskg. A friend of mine kids plays uskg and velocity wedges. But as with anything each player will and can have difference results, order demos and try them out or if your kid is around 57 let me know and I have some demos I can sell you.

Does anyone know how much the US Kids TS3 steel shafts weigh?

no but i can tell you that vs the same graphite one its 30 grams more give or take a few grams when I weighted them. Using a 9i and TS3 57 as reference.

That's good enough for me, I'm guessing then in the 80 gram range.

My son's using the Alto. They're a very nice club with a slightly larger head over the older Velocity heads. The top lines are about the same iirc, not an appreciable difference there.

The Alto shafts are the biggest difference. They are noticeably stiffer than the Velocity shafts and a big improvement.

Thanks for the info. I ended up going with TS3 given I had 3 "6th club free" free vouchers worth.

I've heard its very similar to zelos 6/7 line. high 60s low 70s my guess.

Thanks I just bought a zelos 6, going to try it in a ping prodig head and compare to the ping graphite.

The walls are super thin on those irons. My son's friend has the zelos 7 and one of them snapped in half after hitting a ball.

My younger daughter had the ts3 and recently outgrew them and I ordered the Flynn alto. Honestly they are the same when you get down to it. My older daughter had velocity years ago and think the alto is probably better. I like the Flynn alto a little better because I think they just look better and it’s a little cheaper then a comparable ts3 or at least was when I shopping at the time for what I wanted.

having an older daughter and a younger one who is 9 I learned not worry about the clubs that much. You just need to buy a premium junior set like Flynn or US kids and let them hit balls as much as they can. When she grows out of these clubs and hitting the ball well these will end up being her last set of junior clubs andcloser to her 10th birthday I move her on to a used set ladies clubs.

i know lots of people on here think about perfect clubs but I am learning it really doesn’t matter until there older probably around 12 or 13. To put things into perspective The perfect clubs recently cost me around 3k for my 13year old but she not going to need to replace every 6 months either.
