Course was packed for a Thursday today. It's going to be a full weekend at the API this year. It was surprisingly full for the pro-am yesterday as well.

Was sad to see Wolff lose his -3 lead on 6th hole with two drops.

The early morning guys had the advantage of no wind and some slower conditions.

Also I randomly took a photo of Reed and Dechambeau putting on 16 a few hours ago, and I just looked at it again and Reed's wife is sitting in the grass right next to me. Morikawa's girl Katherine was also out there following him; being super ominous and standoffish off to the side.

You can always tell who's out there watching their 'other half' play by their outfits lol.

I saw Rory and BK at the PGA but couldn’t get a spot close/behind them on a driver shot to really see and hear the full effect.

 

But I did see Adam Scott, I happened to be in a spot next to one tee box tryin to see TW and AS was right there on another, had a perfect DTL view.

 

Was such a sight and sound to behold, I almost passed out ; )

Just checked in on the PGA Tour Live coverage and didn't see Matt Every on the leaderboard, so I go check the full leaderboard... holy hell.

He's +8 through 12 holes. 3 doubles and 2 bogeys, all the way from the solo lead at -7 to sitting on the cut line at +1... and he still has 6 holes to go. If this keeps up he's on pace for a +12 round.

The more I watch Bryson, the more I wonder how good he would be if he was not single length.

All he needs to do is find the correct. Wedge length. And go single length pw -lob. Us tall guys have been Doing that for eons. That and learn a soft left arm wedge swing. His issue is that the rigid triangle he tries to keep works well for hard swings. But. You loose a lot of feel When you are trying to stay that rigid and wide going back. Wouldn’t be a big change. But mentally he’d have to concede partial defeat. And that would be harder than the real change.

PGA tour superstore on turkey lake by the course may have same day passes. Call them ahead of time
