Hattons swing looks like a low handicapper early extension special. Just goes to show don’t have to hit a high draw to win on tour. He’s a tremendous putter as well.

Hatton is funny and entertaining to watch on TV, but I wouldn't want to necessarily play with him. After a bad shot, he looks like that guy at the poker table on tilt, that just got a really bad beat.

Hatton's major performances is quite underrated.

5 top 10 finishes in 19 starts which is more than Fleetwood who has 3 top 10 finishes, albeit 2 2nd places.

I would never have thought Hatton would have won this weekend, I've watched him in Germany a few times and he is a fiesty little so and so, but always thought his temper would get the better of him. I think this is the first event since last years US Open that I've actively had an interest in following, very happy for him and also the European Tour.

Agree - Generally, Rory's mistakes have nothing to do with anything other than his putting inside 10ft.

That said his driving was a bit of a mess yesterday, but that doesn;t happen that often.

Winning on the European Tour is as tough as winning on the US tour.

In reality both tours have a group of players who are in contention regularly to win and a handlful each week that can pop up and string 4 good rounds together in any week.

What this victory by Hatton says is simply that good players can win on both.

Poor by Rory after the first round.He was 2.6 to win after the first round,never shot par after that great first round score.

Im must be the best player on tour at the moment, very consistent.

Hatton was solid but looks like he will lose his temper anytime,needs to work on that if he wants to be a consistent winner.
