Calm before the storm in here now....This thread will probably blow up again on Monday when pricing and full specs are released.

I'm hoping when Mizuno confirmed price/specs on Monday that meant that the clubs will go live on the website with with full photos/360 views and the comparisons to eachother and the MP range so we can get heel toe lengths, topline, etc.

I saw the new line this morning. Almost ordered 921 Forged on the spot. Held off since I’m debating shafts. I thought all the irons looked great.

Not a big fan of the new wedge though.

The issue is there will also most likely be a significant jump in ball speed between the combination of stronger loft and chromoly. So if you aren't looking to hit the ball further but are looking to hit a specific number it could be a deal breaker. Personally I'm looking for 9 iron to fly 152 and 8 iron to fly 165. I don't think I'll be able to hit those numbers at 2* weak. I'd probably have to go Forged 4-7 Tour 8-G to get the numbers/gaps to where I want to play.

I'm playing a Nippon 125X in my 900 Tours right now, what's a similar stock offering from Mizuno? LZ? Not a huge fan of the X100's.

What makes it “good”? In other words, can you share some of the specific benefits to this wedge as opposed to, say, the T20?

It is different. It is a forged multi piece wedge with the intent of being similar to a high toe. There is a ton of weight removed from the low heel and placed in the high toe. The balance is dead nuts center and so is the sweet spot.

The shiny badge on the forged looks like something you’d see on a set of clubs at K-Mart.... Hopefully they look better in person.

Everyone complained about the badge on the 919F - not fond of it but it hasn't peeled off or gotten in the way in 2 yrs.
