Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I have hit some Fujikura shafts in the past that I have really loved. I think they feel exceptional, and they have performed for me as well.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? Not sure without a fitting but probably F1.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? Any opportunity to get fitted for the best feel in shaft manufacturers is always a welcomed opportunity.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? Control is a must, but I’d game the one which increases ball speed without compromising accuracy.

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Ventus Black 6x currently in play.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I know one player in specific, that is beginning his journey into playing professionally that has switched from the Ventus to the F1 and has nothing but great things to say. This is also someone who previously said without a doubt the Ventus was the best shaft he had ever hit.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F1

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? I have not

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? My assumption based off the specs would be Motore X F3 5 S

Can you attend the event April 1st through 3rd? OH HECK YEEEAA

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? I've owned at one point the original F1 and F3; and have tested the Ventus Blue w/ velocore

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I'm excited to see how it feels or compares to the original (i had an F1 in an R9 TP driver)

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? I would guess the F1

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? 45.25", Callaway Epic Flash SZ, D4, Aldila RIPx 65TX tipped 1", Golf Pride Align+4

Were you fit for your current driver? Yes

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? Got dang right i am, better make it 110%.

Questions I would ask --

1) How many different profiles have you developed over the last 5-10 years? have they increased or have they been reduced in order to streamline/refine product lines?2) Does Fujikura intend to ever divert from the speeder series - or is that going to continue in the future? If it does -- is Fuji going to change the numbering so that consumers can better differentiate what 'family' they might prefer or be fit into best?3) How has Fujikura done behind-closed-doors testing to differentiate themselves from other companies? 4) How many 'test' lines are out there (either in design form or actual testing with players) at any given time before deciding to go to production? 5) How does Fujikura plan for the future? Is there a continuous line of improvement due to new materials -- or refinement of current platforms/lines to better serve more golfers utilizing current materials?

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Yes, currently testing the Ventus Black in a couple of Taylormade heads. Loving it so far!

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? The Motore line is a classic, and I'd love to see how much evolution and improvement Fujikura has made especially having found success with the Ventus line.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? Traditionally lower launch/spin profiles have worked best for me, but I am more intrigued by the F3 option based on what we've seen so far.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? Taylormade M3 440 10* Mitsubishi Tensei Pro Blue 60TX, untipped 44.5", Tour Velvet 360

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Yes. A buddy has the Ventus Blue 6s in his driver. I've hit it a couple times. Very stable. Have not hit the Motore X yet.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? The reviews I've read emphasize speed, stability and good kick at impact. Usually, you can pick two of those, but not all three. If Motore lives up to the billing, it's a special shaft.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? The F1 6 (s or x) would seem like the most likely candidates.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? PXG 811X (Gen 2), evenflow T1100 White (6.0), Golf Pride Z Cord Grip, 45" playing length.

Were you fit for your current driver? Yes. Fit by PXG rep.

Handicap? 3.9 GHIN Index.

Current City and State? Denver, CO

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? Yes.Questions (added per Fujikura's 3/11 post): Seems like distance due to improvements in the driver head itself may be nearing the end of the line and that future improvements may come from fitting and, specifically, how well a shaft works for a particular golfer's swing. What kind of insights has ENSO given Fujikura regarding that interaction and where does Fujikura see shaft innovation going in the coming years?Do you fit with ENSO, or use it exclusively for R&D?How long is the journey from R&D to market for a shaft? Put differently, are you currently in R&D for 2021 or is it more like 2024?A lot of the new high-end shafts are touting their new and improved materials: 40 Ton Carbon Fiber; Pitch 70 Ton Ultra High Modulus Carbon Fiber; Hexcel’s HexTow HM63 fiber; TORAYCA T1100G (or M40X) carbon-fiber pre-preg; 90-Ton and 78-Ton DIALEAD® Pitch Fiber angle plies combined with a full-length application of MR70 fiber, etc. What exactly are all these materials, are they really different, what does it really mean to me as a golfer when they are in a shaft, and how does placement impact performance? It is my understanding that most shafts on the market are still produced by rolling them around a mandrel. Some companies like TPT are trying new, more automated, production methods. What is Fujikura's take on production methodology and can changing production methods unlock more potential variations in shaft characteristics and performance?

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Ventus, Stock 70 Stiff offered in the Taylormade SIM.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I have not played a Fujikura shaft since the Rombax Z. If it is an option getting fit by the ENSO system would be an awesome experience.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F3, I struggle to get adequate launch on my driver, I think a mid-high launch shaft would be a huge benefit.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? Taylormade M4, Matrix Ozik TP7HDe stiff, Golf Pride Tour Velvet, 44.25.

We'd love to have you guys back, but.... that might look rigged :)

Thanks everyone for entering, We're looking forward to it. Also, feel free to add to your post some of the questions you have about shaft companies, the production process etc. What are the mysteries you'd like to uncover? Where do you think Fujikura stacks up in the industry, what are our strengths or weaknesses? All of these topics we will use to better curate the experience and be able to share with the GolfWRX community.

Can you attend the event April 1st through 3rd? Yes!

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? No, I have not. However, from my online research I'm very interested in these shafts, as well as Atmos and Ventus, and already planning to arrange a fitting session to test these shafts.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? Hunting the unicorn shaft: strong, tight dispersion with great feel. Original Motore has quite a cult following and wondering if you've built on that magic.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? Difficult to say until I've swung and seen numbers; guessing F1 in Driver, F3 in 3wood.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? Titleist, EvenFlow white T1100 65g 6.5x, MCC, 44.5"

Were you fit for your current driver? No; iterated through various shaft options to current build.

Handicap? Likely 10-15 currently. Just coming back to regular play after having my ankle reconstructed few months ago. Thus handicap at present non ideal. Was playing high to mid single digits on broken ankle previously.

Current City and State? San Mateo, CA

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? Yes, be very happy to make time for the event. Also, about to rebuild my bag entirely and have been very interested in determining best option of various Fujikura, specifically Motore / Atmos / Ventus.

Can you attend the event April 1st through 3rd? Absolutely.

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? I've tried Ventus. My buddy has one--Blue 6s--in his driver.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? Reviews that are out there say the shaft is fast, stable and has good feel. Usually you can find two of those, but not all three. If the reviews are accurate, the new Motore X could be a bit of a unicorn. Who wouldn't be excited for that potential?

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F1 6, likely S or X, depending on fit.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? PXG 811X Gen 2, Evenflow White T1100 6.0, Golf Pride Z Cord grip (standard size, no extra wraps), 45" playing length.

Were you fit for your current driver? Yes. I was fit by the PXG rep.

Handicap? My index is a 3.9.

Current City and State? Denver, CO

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? See answer number one above. Absolutely.Questions for Fujikura: It's hard to see driver head design resulting in additional significant distance gains. Seems like innovation needs to come from other sources, particularly the shaft and how the shaft fits an individual golfer. Where does Fujikura think shaft innovation is going, and what is Fujikura learning through its ENSO system that it believes will help in that regard?Does Fujikura use ENSO for fittings, or just research?New shafts all seem to tout their high end materials: 40 ton carbon fiber; pitch 70 ton ultra high modulus carbon fiber; Carbon Fiber/DuPont™ Kevlar® (CK) weave; 90-Ton and 78-Ton DIALEAD® Pitch Fiber angle plies combined with a full-length application of MR70 fiber; Hexcel’s HexTow HM63 fiber; TORAYCA T1100G (or MX40) carbon fiber pre-preg; etc. What exactly are these and what do they mean for me as a golfer when they are in my golf shaft? How do they change shaft performance depending on placement in the shaft? What is Fujikura's take on construction methodology as it pertains to innovation in shafts? Is a company like TPT--despite their durability issues--on to something, or is rolled construction always going to be superior?

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Never tried the Motore X, Only the Ventus 6X Black in my Driver, Ventus 6X Blue in a Driver, Ventus 7X Blue in my 3 wood, Ventus 8X in my 5 wood. I have a Ventus 7X Red coming in a Mavrik 3 wood.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I have always wanted to experience a true shaft fitting direct from the manufacture and I love the Ventus shafts I currently have. Only been fitted once and that was for my current irons and hybrid.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing?  F1 but I’m not certain. Would rely on Fujikura’s expertise.

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Ventus Blue and Black - neither were a great fit for me. Have not tried the Motore X

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I've always loved the Fujikura feel, but over the last few years have been unable to find a good fit for me. The tech Fujikura uses to create their shafts is amazing and I'd love to see if they're able to top my current set-up.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F3 as a slightly softer mid profile which I typically get the best results from.

Can you attend the event April 1st through 3rd? Yes.

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? Neither. I am intrigued by counter-balanced technology however.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I LOVE technical research and professional fitting with quality components, especially when it completely contradicts what I would have presumed!

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F1 6.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? Titleist TS3, HZRDUS Smoke 6.5, Golf Pride G2, 45".

Were you fit for your current driver? Yes, on the range.

Handicap? 1.3 Index.

Current City and State? Dallas, TX.

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? Yes, 100%, flexible schedule.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I have never had a shaft fitting

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? F1, but i would like to hit the ball higher, so F3 is intriguing.

Can you attend the event April 1st through 3rd? YES!

Have you tried Motore X or Ventus? What ones? I have not been able to try either due to limited offerings in my area for testing.

Why are you excited to get fit for Motore X? I have been able to read alot about the profile and I think it would provide additional stability of my ball flight and the feel sounds very satisfying.

What Motore X, F1 or F3, do you think would fit your swing? I think F1 would fit my swing because I am a faster swing speed player that loads the shaft significantly. The stiffer mid section is a feel I like and know well.

Current driver specs (head, shaft, grip, length)? Ping G410 Lst, Diamana ZF60tx, golfpride z cord, 45'' length

Were you fit for your current driver? No, I did a self fitting.

Handicap? .4

Current City and State? Grangeville, ID

Can you 100%, for sure, really attend the event? YES!

I know we are all really excited to have the opportunity to take this trip to Fujikura's headquarters, but after discussions this week we have decided to postpone the event. It is a bummer that we have to delay this awesome trip, but the safety of our community is more important to GolfWRX and Fujikura. This trip isn't cancelled so please keep signing here up for a chance to go. Right now our hope is that around the beginning of May we can get some members out to Fujikura HQ.

Right now we wait and will assess the situation around the beginning of April. If things are looking better we will then get a firm date for the trip. We deeply apologize for this, but again feel it is the right thing to do for your safety.
