Clubs you regret selling?

@cugolf14 -- Don't know if you had the Newport, Del Mar or Sante Fe version of the cameron teryllium, but each of those are available on the bay between 150 and 300, if you want to scratch that itch.

Callaway Diablo Edge irons. Those things were point and shoot. I thought they were a bit too chunky so I sold them based on that, not performance. Terrible mistake.

Ping S-55. I'm happy with my new 0211ST irons, but those Pings were special. 

 

I'm actually looking into getting new irons already, which is something that took four years to happen with the S-55. Yes, I have a problem lol.

An off the rack R1 driver that looking back I think I hit more consistently than any of the 4 drivers I have been fitted for since.

Got a new set of Apex Pro 21's with plans to trade in my Apex MB '18's.  Played the blades for what was supposed to be one final glorious round, and they were so good I couldn't send them in.  Maybe I should regret not getting the new MB's

I bought a new set of TaylorMade P770 4i - PW irons (got a great deal) the same day I bought a new set of Wilson Staff Model CB irons.  I never took the TMs out.  The plastic wrap on the club heads was still intact.  I just sold the P770s yesterday and now I'll always be curious as to how well they would have fit my game.

Had a set of Callaway Big Bertha 2002 irons when I was still fairly early in my golfing career.  Those things were so easy to hit.  Sold them because I felt I was getting better and didn’t need forgiving irons.  So fast forward about 12 years and Callaway Pre-Owned had a like new set (with graphite left handed!) for $149.  I snatched them up and will have them forever.  I usually break them out early in the season when the swing has a little rust.  
 

Also had a set of Apex 19 irons I traded for some i210’s.  Nothing wrong with the Pings they just didn’t work for me.  Went to find some like replacements for the Apex and everything had 4-5 irons I didn’t want (really just didn’t want to pay for them 🙂) so I just ordered some Apex DCB irons to get that little bit of extra forgiveness.  Now I need to block this website and delete my account before I hear about the next best set of irons.

My dad gave me his HB Power-Bilt Citations when I started golfing back in the early 80's but my very first golf equipment purchase was a Taylormade "Pittsburgh Persimmon" from a small country golf course I still cherish and get back to occasionally.  Traded that driver for something back in the 90's and wish I hadn't.

As a result, I now have an oversized Power-Bilt display bag full of old equipment I'm afraid to get rid of.

I traded in my set of Bridgestone J33 combos in 2006. Endo forged gorgeous irons. My new set is the closest thing I've found since, at least the short irons, ZX7 8-AW, to that soft feel off the face.

Ping K15 driver.  Highest smash factor of any driver I ever hit.

All the irons I regret selling are because of the shaft - loved the heads.

 

Cleveland TA7 Gunmetal - used these to get started again about 9 years ago. Uniflex shafts weren't working for me once I got my swing back.

Nike Vapor Pro Combo's (the last ones they came out with) - broke my left arm and elbow, and so couldn't swing a stiff steel shaft anymore.

Just recently - Mizuno 919 HMP's - again, tried to see if I could swing a softer steel shaft, but the elbow wasn't having any of it, so had to quickly flip these.

 

But the one I really regret selling was my old Callaway S2H2 putter - was seduced by the Scotty kool aid, but that never worked out. Been looking for a putter to replace that ever since. I know the guy who bought it off me, but he won't part with it....

TaylorMade Original One mini driver. Had a Mitsubishi fubuki on it and it was a fairway finder. Greed for distance drove me to sell it! Shame...

Bridgestone West Coast wedges. I can probably find some that are similar, but nothing I have right now is as good as those.
