PXG $95 per 0211 iron

I ordered a set of 0211s on 4/16 and was given an estimated ship date of 4/30, so I have not been expecting any updates until at least the 30th. I wouldn't be surprised if they were a little behind now.

Ordered 0211’s & a 0317x on 4/17. Haven’t received any communication since. Credit card charge showed up in my online account. When will they contact me next? When they ship out?

Did you order direct from PXG, or through a retailer? If you ordered direct through PXG, you should have an order number beginning with SO or WEB. You can track your order on the PXG website, and it will tell you what stage it is in. I ordered my latest orders through Discount Dan’s, so I need to go through them for updates.

In any case, for my order of 0211 irons a few weeks ago direct from PXG, I had my irons in hand within about 12 days from ordering. For my latest orders of Gen2 0311 irons and wedges, I am about two weeks in and have no shipping notices yet. I think they got a lot of orders in, and are a bit slammed. My original estimated shipping dates were 4/28 and 4/29, and it doesn’t seem they will hit those dates.

Thanks. I ordered direct. I just checked & it shows “order received”, not even in “items picked / in assembly” stage yet. I ordered mine with MMT’s. Perhaps they are waiting on shafts??

Yeah, I honestly doubt they have any shortage on the MMT shafts. That is one of their bread and butter stock shafts. You can always call their CS, and they’ll tell you the latest. Very helpful CS.

I actually just checked my order numbers on PXG, and my order for two 0311 wedges placed on 4/15, with an estimated 4/28 ship date, did in fact ship on 4/28 to Discount Dan’s. Last I checked, the order hadn’t moved from “Order Received”, though I kind of stopped checking. My order from 4/16, with an estimated 4/29 ship date, for an 0311 Gen2 iron set, still only shows “Order Received”, but I was assured that order was in process also. They may just not be updating real-time like normal, but I don’t know for sure. Hopefully that order ships today as expected. Then the orders need to make their way from DD to me, so I am looking at next week in hand anyway. Good luck—I know the wait sucks.

How do you check your dd orders on pxg site?

Ha, figured that question was coming. It's a production. I suppose you might be able to ask DD, and they'll be able to provide the PXG "SO" order number or get it for you. In my case, I was trying to not bother DD so I reached out to PXG directly at one point, and they were able to look up my orders via DD's account with PXG (DD or Highland Golf Club). PXG can then find your order and give you the actual order number (but then they'll say that they can't track the orders for green-grass accounts...). Probably best to just reach out to DD for updates.

Again, my first order did ship out from PXG spot-on with the expected ship date from DD. I'll see if my second order ships to DD today as expected.

I broke down and finally ordered a set. I waffled all month, read the PXG 0211’s thread in Equipment a gazilliion times, this thread a gazillion and 1 times. With all that’s going on and not working with no end in sight, I did the smart Wrx thing and even paid more for upgraded shafts. And I went thru PXG so I can even pay more for shipping. Didn’t call and talk to anybody just filled out the order online.

0211 5-GW, Accra Tour 90i stiff, plus 1”. Now I gotta wait. Knowing my luck they’ll get to my order, then the floor manager will shout out, “no more 0211 heads!!! All gone!! Boy that blowout really did us some good! The guy before this guy is super lucky to get the last set!” Can’t wait for the email telling me the heads are all gone.

Just FYI I placed my order for a putter on 4-22 and called today to check on it. Was told they were working on orders placed 4/19 Friday. So that should give you guys that ordered a good timeline on where you stand in terms of going into production.

I wouldn't say that is completely true. I placed my order for a set of gen 1s on 4/14 and they said maybe next week ship date.

My 4/15 order for two 0311 wedges shipped from PXG to DD mid last week (then out to me from DD on Friday). My 4/16 order for 0311 Gen2 irons seems to be languishing (website is stuck on Order Received, but DD assures is in process). Who knows—I think they are slammed and short-handed. I would expect at least 3 weeks for delivery.

I called DD on Thursday to check on some 0211 irons that I ordered 4/15 which were supposed to be shipped the 29th. They told me PXG seems to be running 4 business days behind. Guess we'll see. It's hard to wait especially since I will actually be able to play next week.

Same for me. Ordered a set of 0211 on 4/17 was told by the rep i ordered from likely to ship around 4/23, still shows order received now on the site. It looks like some of the heads (4,5) are back ordered now but I think they are couple weeks behind

The quarantine has left me with a full bag of PXG thanks to all the deals. I ordered the new Proto driver on 5/4 and was told they were on 4/18-4/19 order dates for builds. I ordered 0311T sugar daddy’s on 4/18 but they haven’t gone into building yet. My Gen 2 irons and Gen 2 woods both took about 3 weeks door to door (PXG is local for me but wasn’t allowing in person pick ups).

Update, not 0211 related, but build dates at least. My order for milled wedges on 4/17 is in build today. Order for putter and woods, 4/27, expected to be built 5/12. Finally order for driver, 5/2, expected to be built 5/17.

Has anyone tried the Gen1 0341 fairways? At $95 a club I am considering it just because of the cost.

they are sold out in right handed. They still show but you couldn’t add one to cart. Left handed still available

I can still order a 2 wood in the X rh for $95 according to the site. I didn’t realize the other model was LH only though. I am considering the 2wd for a tee club or lofting it up. For that price I may do it. I have wasted more money on clubs than that.

I qualify for the heroes program before the covid situation hit. That is maybe why I see them? I said the hell with it and ordered the X 2wood with an Evenflow White 75 stiff. Got the order confirmation. We will see if it ships.

 

Keep an eye out on BST in about a month when I fully realize I bit more off than I could handle with this club.
