My friend's daughter (anglo) lives in Taiwan and she loves it. She is very smart and has traveled around the world. I think she speaks Japanese and Chinese too plus German or Spanish.

She said you can start a business in Taiwan easier there than even the USA. I am not bashing USA just saying Taiwan is a great place.

If country of manufacture is the standard that we are setting, let's all prepare to forgo our Mizuno blades and Vokey wedges. Trust me, in a global supply chain driven economy, that is not a precedent you can set. I can guarantee you that most golf attire is NOT manufactured in USA.....and Wrangler overalls won't meet the dress code at most clubs so let's all agree to let some stuff slide. It's a good ball and it gets the job done. Hands down.

I recently tried the Maxfli Tour ( 2 dozen for $ 50 ). This is Dicks Sporting Goods house brand. It's a great ball. I've been comparing it to the 2020 Chrome Soft and find them very comparable with a slight edge to the Maxfli Tour. Was it anecdotal that I happen to play my low score of the year using the Maxfli? Not sure, but I'll be playing 9 holes with it tomorrow on a much tougher course and 18 with it on Friday on another tough course. Anxious to see how it works.

Or, just buy Kirkland 3 piece urethane for half that price. Really good ball.

I will always prefer to buy things made in the US to similar products made elsewhere, but more to my point I will avoid buying anything made in China as much as possible. So if Maxfli is made in Taiwan and brand X is made in China, I’m buying Maxfli or even this Spalding ball. So far this year I’ve played some older Maxfli UFli Speed balls and the Titleist TruSoft. If this Spalding came in Yellow I probably would play it.

Someone pointed out earlier that it's actually a premium version of the Nitro brand. I didn't see the tour version but they are on Amazon. This is not the one I played.https://www.amazon.com/Nitro-Spalding-Pure-Spin-Ball/dp/B085XZ2BJ2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=spAlding+golf&qid=1593726263&sr=8-3

Just saw them at Walmart for $25/dozen and was going to pick up a dozen, but I found a slightly better deal online so I'll probably get some too. I have way too many golf balls as is: 3 dozen Nicklaus Black practice (so new) and 4 dozen mint Kirkland Tour Performance I just bought a couple months ago. While I love premium brand balls, I also love buying smaller brands at great prices lol. So these will likely be my next pickup! ?

Just picked up a dozen in a pinch. Playing in a few I'll report back how it goes.

Just picked up 2 dozen on eBay from different sellers, but they both ended up being around $17 with free shipping, so just under $35 after tax for 2 dozen! You can find them on eBay pretty cheap if you're willing to wait for them. Can't wait to get them ?

I wasn't interested in trying them at $25 a dozen.  I haven't seen them marked down at Walmart but they have them online for $18 and you can do free in -store pickup to get that price so I got a box of each.  Haven't tried them yet.  The only other 3PC, 344 dimple, urethane balls I see on the conforming list are the RZN Tour and the RZN MS Tour.

Walmart is blowing out the SDs and SDxs out for $7-$11/dozen and I've bought all I could find based on the comments in this thread. This is the ONLY place I could find anyone talking about these. Excited to try them! Thanks!

There's another thread talking about them here as well. These balls appear to have significant durability issues and questionable consistency. Some people claim they play great but definitely more than just a handful claiming they are seeing significant distance decreases. Seems to indicate a very inconsistently made ball.

Personally I found them to have really bad durability, deep cuts on the cover in as few as 1 or 2 shots with an 8 iron. Similar or maybe worse than the older Cut Blue. But some lasted longer than that. I didnt notice any significant distance issues, but again others say they have.

I got 2 dozen of each at $6.00, fun to try a new ball out for cheap. But I won't be buying any more.

FWIW I've played a couple rounds with these balls.  I didn't see any distance loss that I wouldn't expect from playing in cool wet conditions.  I also didn't have any durability issues that concerned me.  They might get chewed up a little quicker than other balls, but for the price I'm not too worried about it.  They have plenty of spin for me too.

Definitively, if you have a membership. If not then it would be Cut.

But you have to consider the durability of Cut. They are just awful as far as durability goes, deep cuts on the cover after a single iron strike oftentimes for me. If you don't lose a metric ton of balls, anything more durable in the $30-$40 range would be a better "value" than Cut. If you lose a ball every other hole then yes Cut might be a good value.

Kirklands aren't great either as far as durability goes but Cut takes it to an extreme.
