Mat and Net deals

I'm in the same boat with Rukket (which rhymes with something). I ordered on April 4th from their website and within a few hours received an email that it had shipped but it would be up to two days to receive a tracking number. This seemed weird but I thought OK but I have never gotten tracking info. I have sent them two emails asking for an update and tried to call. Each time I called I got a recording that their mailbox was full and to try later.

I have checked on my FedEx, UPS and USPS account and nothing is incoming from them.

I filed for a refund from PayPal stating that "What I really want is at least a status update but they will not communicate with me.". If I got an email saying they were behind with and ETA it would have been OK. I went back to Amazon this week and most of the other nets were out of stock so I ordered a Ram net for $69. I doubt it is the same quality but I did receive it already. I'm waiting a few days to open it as I'll return it if I ever get the Rukket.

This customer service is unacceptable. They have not answered my email or updated their web page which indicates orders are being shipped promptly. It clearly is not the truth.

I just got sent a tracking number from FedEx. It says label created and ETA is today. Something tells me this isn't accurate.

EDIT: I noticed the tracking number states the shipment is coming from about an hour away. I asked them on Twitter if I could just go pick it up, no response!

I just got an email from another rep at Rukket apologizing for "sending me in the wrong direction" and issuing the refund through the PayPal claim. Overall a total debacle and I missed the window to get a decent net when they were available (keeping in mind that I can't afford a Net Return). Anyways, I'll keep watching this space because I'm a masochist, but I'm done with Rukket as a customer. Delays are fine; incompetence and misinformation are not.

Edit: I cannot believe the site software filters "Mass-O-Kissed"!!!

I can’t vouch for that one, but it is $150 with one review, bad. I posted earlier in this thread about this $60 net from Target, which I bought, set up, and can vouch for (in addition to the positive reviews). If ya just need a net, I really can’t think of much better right now than this one. It has been perfect for my backyard thus far. Callaway Golf Hitting Net - Silver

Has anyone bought from https://www.dwquailgolf.com/? I ordered a mat and net 2 weeks ago and it is still awaiting fulfillment. I contacted them last week and they responded "give it a couple of days and it should be shipped out." Over a week later and still nothing. I sent them another message on Thursday and haven't received a response.

Thanks Jeff. I’m wanting to use it in a garage. Does the Callaway net need to be anchored into the ground? Also, do the balls collect at the bottom of the net or bounce back? If they bounce back, they would bounce around on the garage floor and that wouldn’t work for my set up. Thanks.

Definitely more of an outdoor net. It can collect balls, but it’s not designed for that as a priority. And it definitely needs to be anchored.

That type would work, as would the Callaway 8 foot net, but that one isn’t available until May 10 according to Amazon and I’m looking for something sooner.

Do the nets come from some warehouse that is experiencing a serious shortage or problem? Reason I ask is that I got the Rukket XL Short Game thing you chip into and it came in under 96 hours.

Received my Rawhide mat (B) about a week ago. I’m already developing some elbow pain I experienced years ago with a CCE mat. I’ve decided to go back to my Fiberbilt flight deck. Welling to sell the Rawhide if anyone is near Louisville.

FedEx tracking number now shows the ETA is 4/20. If it shows up that'll be 9 days from order to delivery. I'm not upset at the turnaround time but the communication is just poor.

Day 1. Brand new Rukket. I’m 52, SS with the driver about 90. This happened while hitting a 3 hybrid. This can’t be a good sign. Any thoughts?

Yeah, my thought is you should start contacting them now and you might hear back by the time you've put a hole in your wall or broken a neighbor's window. Seriously, that's not a good sign for durability. They claim to stand by the lifetime warranty, but they have been a disaster for so many so I don't hold out much hope. At least you've got a CC charge back if you need it.

I just can’t believe it. I’m not a big hitter at all. I am a very consistent hitter though and once I noticed the fray I hit a few more balls and they were all pretty much hitting in the exact same spot. So I moved over and now I’m hitting into a different spot but that’s ridiculous.

Still no net for me. Ordered on 4/1, “label created” on 4/8... same copy and pasted response from them with no real update specific to my order.

Still no net for me either. Ordered 4/4, marked 'shipped on 4/4, found label created on FedEx dot com 4/17, no ETA or real info yet.

I did get a phone call after posting on this forum apologizing and telling me the net would ship on Monday 4/20.

I'm really trying to decide if I should wait of not. I purchased a RAM 10X7 net on Amazon which arrived in a few days but I don't want to open if I decide to return it. Or should I return the Rukket if it ever gets here?. I asked for a refund only to be told it was 'on the way'. Can anyone tell me if the Rukket quality is really worth more than double the price of the RAM net? The design is the same but I can't really get much info on the RAM net. Amazon is out of the now, but it was $64.99.

wow that's pretty ridiculous. how can there be such a disconnect between the ordering system and the warehouse? guess i was ridiculously lucky i received mine in 3 days, even though rukket had no idea that i actually got the net until the week afterwards.

That’s interesting you got a call... I’ve received responses on Instagram but never anything specific to my order. It’s just been “we’re sorry; we’re doing everything we can.” At this point they may just be getting pissed cause I keep asking for an update.

Got delivered today. Overall happy with quality of net and 3 days to my door. Been hitting some balls into it with my 4 year old. Sometimes you find the silver lining with bad situations.

Any additional feedback on "C" grade mats from Rawhide?

Just bought an A grade mat from Rawhide, you guys suck!

My B grade came with some light wear. I would think you should expect some heavier wear and maybe some indents and such on the C grade. Unless you need pristine, depending on your needs and pickiness, start with B grade consideration and move down to C grade if you want to save some money but just need/want a mat.
