A couple of questions, please: 1) other than the pocket space or design of pockets, how is the ingress and egress of clubs, any tangle or struggle getting clubs out or putting them back in?

2) How do you like the 410 Max driver, your thoughts on performance?

Thanks for the questions!

 

1) The pocket space/design of the pockets is fine, I had a ping hoofer lite before this and it's as good/better than that.

2) I gamed a ping g400 max before the g410 plus for 2+ years and didn't think anything would kick it out, the g410 is every bit of forgiving for me with the added face depth vs the 400 max as well as slightly lower spinning.

I'm not after the <2000 rpm off the driver, I like roughly 2400-2600 rpm for spin for playability and the ping g400 max was around 2800-3000 and the g410 hit that window of 2400-2600 over and over so that's why it's in the bag.

In short you really can't go wrong, if something is looking for pure accuracy and playability the G400 Max is still the leader in my opinion.

How does that shaft pair in that driver head? That was a combo that had my intrigued

For me it’s very good. I had a pro orange and honestly love it but this shaft is totally different. The hulk is much smoother and easier to load in my opinion. I don’t think it’s that stout so it shocks me that heavy/hard hitters play it.

The clip 3 is awesome, I got mine for under $50 when they first came out, I have a bose soundlink revolve as well (won at a company party) that I will use if I'm riding but the battery life is great with the clip 3.

Well I won it during the Glide Forged giveaway in the tour and pre release forum, but the winners only got one wedge, so it’s kinda been an odd club in the bag. I’ve hit some great shots with it, the distance control is great, and the feel is awesome, but I’ve decided to make it an office wall-hanger to go back to matching wedges with my SM5s.

 

If I had the money, I’d happily game a set of them in 50 54 58. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with their performance one bit

Just ordered a white and navy sl2 through my club for a great price. Can’t wait for it to come in after seeing your great looking set up. Someone or Stitch needs to make an aftermarket nylon rain cover for the bag. Just no where to store the one that comes with it.

Had the chance to play Erin Hills and Mammoth Dunes last year. Also played one called Washington county That was great for the ?. You live in a great golf state. Hopefully we kick this virus out soon! Stay safe.

Preach on the rain cover! If they should make it with a little bigger pockets it would be the absolute perfect bag. We might have a shorter season here but I’m going to make it a point to play some higher quality courses.

Updated! Haven't changed much except for the irons/wedges. Just didn't get along with the blueprints and went to the dark side (taylormade) after I got a sweet deal on the P7TW's. The MG2's are some of my favorite with the straight leaning edge and lack of offset.

 

Really enjoy the RSI UDI in comparison to the latest driving irons and it's not that hot off the face. Still looking at snagging a set up i59's when they come out as I've always been a ping fan.

Couldn’t turn down a sweet deal. Throwing in a combo set of titleist, first set of irons since the 716’s I had. Really excited to see all the buzz about the tour v’s. The BB&F co ferrules are sick.
