Why I go away from ping is beyond me. Experiment with the 620's is over. Was able to find a mint set of iblades with tour v 120x's.

Anyone have any feedback on putting or improvement? Absolutely struggled this year (haven't had a round under 30 putts this whole year) I've tried a superstroke and just keep pushing everything.

If you're still rolling the Ping blade, check out a more face balanced putter. I started pushing everything with my Ping blade earlier this year and switched to a face balanced mallet - It has been noticably better.

Thanks! Still rolling the old faithful anser. I'm going to go back to a more conventional style grip and maybe I'll give a FB putter a shot. .

Thanks! I did not care for them. I like to thing as myself of a pretty decent ball striker (see the trusty 3 wood) and couldn’t justify keeping them. May have been the px lz 6.5’s soft stepped.

Anyone have any feedback on the difference of the SS grind and the TS grind on any of the ping glide wedges? Looking at ordering the TS grind as my home course typically plays firm but the other course are quite soft.

Snagged some cheap glides! Hoping they work out. Curious about length on them. The 54 seems

short or the 60 seems long. Any insight would be awesome! 54 is in the 3rd photo and 60 is in the 4th.

I'm red dot and standard length in Ping. I have some Glide 3.0's and just checked, my 60 is 1/4" shorter than the 56. I just looked at the specs at Ping and that is correct. 35.25" for the 56 and 35" for the 60.

 

Also in Wisconsin just south of Milwaukee. Isn't winter great?

It’s brutal. If it’s going to be cold at least let’s have snow. Based on the measurements it looks like my wedges are both the same length, seems like the 60 is a 1/4 long possibly. We’ll have to get out and play! I’m a member at lawsonia and can usually get decent rates.

Some recent changes! Love the ventus, absolutely smoother than the hulks, much more accurate albeit a hair more spin for myself. Love the distance control and spin that the i59’s provide. Also have a vessel

Absolutely loving the vessel for walking and finally went with the tried and true tour velvet 60 rounds since there’s no sign of bct’s out there.

They are! I live off of the woodlands course and thee biggest fan of the course, vibes and overall community.

I'm in Madison! I don't get to play a whole lot with having a 2 year old, so I like to go to the nicer places when I get out haha. I usually play Bergamont, U Ridge, etc. I actually live right by Monona's little 9 hole track so when I have a free hour and a half I'll buzz over there. 

 

How about you? I have family in the Milwaukee area but have never made it out that way to play. Maybe you me and @collje26 should meet up and get a round in!

Im in Kenosha, I play around the area. There is Brighton Dale which is about 5 minutes from Burlington, ya lets find something, Elkorn has decent course, which is about half way for us. Evergreen I think, it has 3 9's or anyplace else. Oh wait Kettle Moraine in Eagle is a great course that should be about half way. Let me know, would love to get around I am stuck in a rut playing the same course this year because I got a membership, I dont like it, playing the same course gets to me. I was used to playing 3 different course a week.

I live a couple hours south, almost evrybody I know make a couple day trip every couple years Freakin great course, Wisconsin in General has some pretty cool courses, known and unknown

I have struggled off and on with putting for years.  And I wish I had all the money back for the putters that were totally pure in the store, even if I went back and tried them on consecutive days before buying.  Only to learn I was no better.  Finally I sucked it up and dropped $125 at Club Champion for a putter fitting.  When all was said and done I had a putter in my bag that was nearly perfect for me.  Perfect would have been 40* of toe hang and mine had 20*.  The fitter put a smidge of lead tape for the toe and we were done.  "I can sell you a new putter if you see something shiny that fits you, but there really isn't any need."  Then he handed me a roll of lead tape in case I wished to experiment further,  and before sending me on my way took the time to check the loft and lie on all my irons as a courtesy.  It has really freed up my putting stroke to stand over a putt knowing I have the correct arrow and it is up to the Indian to make a good stroke.

 

Some people think Club Champion is a total rip off and others like it.  In this case it was money well spent.

Those shoes look well broken in!

 

And if you ever start going down the struggle bus again with the putting, I recommend looking at the side saddle thread on here.  I'm a convert where putting went from an absolute liability to honestly a strength of the game anymore.  It makes golf WAY more fun when you look forward to a 10ft birdie putt vs just trying to not 3 putt it.
