I'm a 18 and play the same irons. Dont think sgi irons would help on my bad days. But when I'm playing decent theres nothing better. I played j36 pocket cavities until last season.

I am an 11 hcp and my irons are Titleist 718 AP1 6-W. Went with a graphite shaft which was a good decision. Less shoulder pain and good distance.

Just switched to Exotics EXS with Tensei blue shafts. I find myself going more GI over the last few years. I don't mind the larger more forgiving clubs. I play my best golf when I hit greens in regulation so I focus on that metric to guide my game. If I hit 9 greens I typically break 80 its that simple for me.

Wow, I have the Cobra Amp irons (2012 GI) and am in the process of upgrading the entire bag except the putter. Before the virus had a chance to be fit into the Driver, 3 wood, and hybrids. Now searching for the irons. Bummed I cannot try anything right now. At least I am playing golf. I am seriously looking at trying a hollow body iron and all of the technology that goes with that. But a hollow body in a game improvement or near game improvement. Have my eye on the Honma TW-X, Muira IC-610, and maybe Taylormade P790 TI. But I did have the chance to try the JPX Hot Metal before my store shut and I liked that iron. The only issue is that Mizuno and Srixon are likely to have new stuff in late summer. But with the virus I wonder if that will be pushed back.

Currently M5’s with project x rifle 6.5 shafts. I tend to hit it really high. Probably still considered game improvement irons but I like the top like and more compact shape compared to super game improvement irons. Hopefully my next set in a couple years are moving more towards players irons just because I like the top line look

I play Mizuno JPX 919 Tour/Forged/HMP combo. Tour 6-PW, Forged 5 iron, Hot Metal Pro 4 iron.

I am roughly a 12 handicap and have found that playing players irons that are smaller has improved my ball striking. I feel there is no where to hide, so I am forced to focus on making good contact and staying more controlled in my swing.

Hc hovering around 14 for the past few years. Ive come to terms that my distance from my youth is gone. Being 60, I am trying to adjust. So I have been trying to find a game improvement iron that will give me the workability and some distance back. I even got fitted for a set of Taylormade M5's on a regular shaft, but did not like the interaction of the sole thru the turf (I hit a lot of knock down shots). So the list of clubs for last year was

Cobra F7 one length- Not for meCobra King OS (new model) - were okTaylorMade M5's - not what I was hoping forTaylormade M4 - on a modules 105 shaft,- were ok, but the turf interaction was an issue. Some old Ping eye 2's ….. decided to move forward again versus living in the pastGoing forward Calloway Rouge X on the X95 shaft.... Like the sole interaction better than the TM's and I get my distance back. But now have to carry an extra wedge. So we shall see how this works when the courses open up for the season after the pandemic lifts.

I tell people that the safest sport is Golf... but they don't believe me.

When I first started getting back into golf a few years ago, I had TaylorMade r11 irons, they were great for a beginning forgiving set. I upgraded to the King Cobra F8 irons and love them! They are more punchful in hitting and great deal of forgiveness for me. I'm right around a 18 handicap. Unfortunately irons are too much my weakness as it is my driving and not staying in the fairway off the tee, and chipping I'm working on as well. Would recommend anyone to try out the F8 irons or even the F9 or higher!

13-15 HC range.

full set of Mizuno MP20 HMBs. very happy with them. my goal was to find a club with some forgiveness that will also give me the feedback I need to become a better ball striker. besides, they a beauties.

I also have a set of MP-32s which I plan on bringing into play if/when I can get down to single digits. I love the feel of well struck shots with the MP32s, but they're still too few and far between. The MP20 HMBs feel great and are a pleasure to play, so no complaints.

Another option for if/when I improve is to gradually replace the HMBs with MP20 MBs or MMCs from P down.

Floating around a 10-12 handicap at the moment. Currently playing a set of Mizuno MP-60s, prefer that softness and workability of a forged cavity back after growing up playing Ping Eye 2s for so many years. Have tried game improvement TaylorMades and Callaways on occasion, but while being able to hit it pretty straight, just can’t get used to the lack of feel. That being said, just got a set of Titleist 718 CB heads and looking forward to get out with them when I can get the right shafts installed after all this settles down.

Currently a 9 but fluctuate between 9-11. I play Srixon Z745's. Definitely a players look and shape, but they are surprisingly forgiving.

I saw a huge improvement in distance control when I switched to these from my AP1 GI set that I bagged for years.

With a one-piece forging, you hit it on the button and you know it's going the distance it's supposed to go.

My index bounces between 7.5 and 9.5.

Played Srixon Z765 Modus 105 stiff for all of 2018, but after an injury, they became just a little too demanding for me on off days.

Now playing Cobra Forged Tec Black 6-GW with Steelfiber 95cw R, which I just had reshafted after a fitting at Hot Stix in Scottsdale.

Today will be my first round with them. Had a couple of range sessions.

Was playing Modus 105 Stiff before. I'm coming up on 59 and and my 6iron SS is 80-82.
