The bedrock of GolfWRX.com is the community of passionate and knowledgable golfers in our forums, and we put endless trust in the opinions of our GolfWRX members — the most knowledgeable community of golfers on the internet. No other group of golfers in the world tests golf clubs as frequently or as extensively, or is armed with such in-depth information about the latest technology.

So, WRXers, we're asking for your input on the best putters of 2020.

Before we get to the polling, however, we'd like you to help us narrow down the short list.

Please list your choice for the best putter of 2020. And if you see your choice mentioned already, well, don't mention it, because it's already been counted. In a perfect world, there would be no repeat mentions.

Lolz. Bit early no? I'm sure most people haven't even got a 2020MY putter in hand yet much less on course and heck Ping haven't even delivered any of theirs to customers AFAIK.

I look forward to winners of the "Best for carpets" and "Best return/refund policy" categories.

That’s why I asked. Some companies may have had fall releases so those would be 2019 putters. To my knowledge, Directed Force and other companies most recent models may not be new.

Well in retrospect you are right in the sense that putters were released late 2019 for the 2020 season. My bad.

This is my thoughts too. I've hit probably a few thousand putts in 2020 but all have been on carpet and none over 8ft long. If that's the case all my putters are awesome and I hardly miss.

Have been unhappy with the OTR mainstream putter lineup for several years now due to the lack of blade options available with under 25 degrees of toe hang and a straight shaft but for the sake of your thread I will say the 2020 special select newport 2 looks great with it's slimmer design and reshaped flanges.

Another vote for the new Mizuno M-Craft line of putters. I favor the blue but the fact that there is a color to suit everyone is a nice bonus.

I have the Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2.5 and love it!!!, so the new version of the Newport 2.5 is just as good if not better (feel) by being one piece without the insert...

I am loving my Lajosi DD201, going to be tough to beat IMO, BUT...….

If we are talking larger scale OEM brands, I will cast another vote for the Mizuno M Craft I, black ion. I did the same as the poster above, went in for a Scotty Special, but against the Mizzy the Scotty could not compete. Beautiful looking putter and it sets up so nicely down by the ball. Add in the weight kit for the total cost and it's a steal at $299. Wish they had a few more styles but the I is as good as it gets for my eye.
