Oh man, why did you have to post those pics. Those are stunning and look like a zero offset MB-001 (i'm guessing that's the point?)

Thanks for sharing those! I had NOT seen those particular pictures before. Awesome.

I'm also curious, if you happen to know and would like to share. What is this 99.3% Pure thing Miura Giken recently started referring to? EF Version? Pre Orders? For Distribution only? What are the 2 finishes? I asked MCW for Raw on Irons, specifically these TB•Zero, and they said no.

Here are a couple more pics of the regular tb zero, will discuss the 99.3% pure fe in a separate post.

*the last pic is of a miura craftsman world tb zero, you can select a different miura script for the tb zero iron only, the new miura font, or the more stylized handwritten script.

TB Zero 99.3% pure FE.

FE chemical symbol ferrum or iron

Gives the club a softer feel, there are less impurities, less carbon content, hence the 99.3% pure iron and much softer feeling.

Bridgestone Japan and their Tourstage line many years ago, used 99.3% pure FE in the limited edition maru wedges, i think for two years i maybe wrong, 2004 and the 2005 x-wedge maru.

Miura now does some of their wedges in 99.3%, and they also did a limited version of the cb-1008 in 99.3%

TB Zero 99.3% will come in two finishes; double nickel chrome satin mirror, and the black is called SQP (salt bath nitride) (sorry my japanese translation is a little rough) the SQP black is supposed to be similar to the copper under nickel in terms of feel, so even softer.

Here are the pics.

here are the specs for the regular TB Zero, remember the Japanese use face progression in millimeteres as their offset measurement, the higher the number the less offset 5.0mm/5.5mm is pretty much zero offset, if you get higher you are almost into onset

#3 #4 #5 #6 #7 #8 #9 PW P/SLoft( °)21 24 27 30 34 38 42 47 52Lie( °)59.5 60 60.5 61 61.5 62 62.5 636 3.5Weight(g) 244 250 257 264 271 278 286 295 296Face Progression(mm) 4.0 4.5 4.8 4.8 5.0 5.5 5.5 5.5 6.0Bounce 3 4 4 4 5 5 6 7 8

*the weights are listed because in miura craftsman world you can opted for lighter or heavier heads, in 1 gram increments, up to 7 grams each way light/heavy

I stopped what I was doing. To read everything.

Awesome stuff!

I was aware of most, with exception to the 99.3 and two alternative finishes coming in those.

Does that SQP Finish wear like a Raw or like a Black? Is it available through MCW for the non 99.3 edition?

Are there any head shaping characteristics intended to be different between the 99.3 and non 99.3? I swear I'm seeing things, but could be angles and lighting.

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

And again, THANK YOU!

The SQP from what I can gather is going to be "scratch-resistant" again from my rough translation. It is classified as a "plated" finish that does not affect the feel, and is supposed to wear much better compared to say a black boron that is offered through the MCW. There are currently 5 different black/blue finishes available via the miura craftsman world, this SQP is not one of them sadly.

Of the two finishes the SQP is going to be the softer feeling, again it is more like the copper underlay that miura offers.

As was the case with the cb1008 99.3% these TB Zero 99.3% are not available through the MCW, miura did change the cb1008 99.3% from the regular version (the double cut sole was standard, i think the blade length was longer and the lofts may have been stronger).

The only difference between the TB Zero and the TB Zero 99.3% will be the two finishes, again no MCW customization options. From what I have read these 99.3% are not the easiest to grind, they tend to "stick" so there maybe some slight variances being a handground product.

I ordered a combo set of MCW TBZero and TC101. Hoping to get them early-mid May. Seems EMS is limiting the number of shipments which will be the most limiting factor in when they arrive. I am hoping the short irons in the TBZero have a nice look to them. I've read that previous iterations of Miura blades struggled in that area, but I've never seen a set personally. Diamana's pictures are the best I've seen, there's a few on TourSpecs blog as well.

I do not know what it is, but all the scoring irons seem to have this odd neck transition, 8/9/PW all seem to suffer from this, creates a chunky look, not just the blades, the tc-101 scoring irons are better than some others. I love the way miura does the long irons 3/4/5, but...

Anybody familiar with the MCW "Menu" for Irons....

OPTION # 6 - FINISH

D22

D23

D24

Each are identified as "White Nickel", what is the difference?

Also, D43, appears to be a similar match as well, but with Copper Underlay.

I don't understand the difference between the 4.

Annnnnnnnd. Long shot, here, would anybody, happen to have pictures showing the difference between the 4 Finishes?

THANK YOU, so much, WRX!

Again, Happy Easter, y'all!

Unreal Pictures! I am playing CB 57s right now and Miura has gained a fan in the last two months. They are so good. I am wondering for future purchases what set would most resemble those at address? That MC 501 sure looks cool, but I see about 5 types of Miura I would like to play. Baby blades, 101s, the new TCs, MC 501.

I change too much to list it. Working on that...
