Original Grafalloy blue. Greatest Low/low shaft ever made. LOL! Sorry, I realize that’s no help. You can’t find them anymore anyway. I’m down to my last one after 12 years of never finding anythi

Yes! HAHAHA!!! Nothing better to do right now!

You definitely have the shaft bug, lol. I’ve noticed a few of your other recent posts all related to this topic. All i can say is you will never truly know what a shaft is like until you try it. Verba

Unless you have an overly heavy head or prefer lower swing weights, I don't think CB is needed. At the end of the day it's all about what feels best and gives best numbers. I wouldn't really ever pick a shaft based on balance point.... it's just that some heads might feel a lot better with a CB shaft, such as a Ping head. Almost needs to have a CB shaft or played a bit shorter unless you really like heavy swing weights.

Under the oldie but goodie, I'm gonna thrown in my favorite. BB-6. Can't find a better combination that feels quite as smooth but all this talk about the TZ5 has me thinking as I haven't tried one of those.

With all this down time, I've been upping my 'backup to the backup' bag and may have to seek one out. I fear (actually, can't wait!) the day that I start playing regularly again. I'm going to look like a manufacturer demo day with all the crap I'll have to take and try out to the range.

Basically a broken record here but the Tensei Pro White, Smoke Black and Atmos Black I thought were all pretty smooth and "low/low". I have had a lot of success though with the Diamana BF tipped an 1". Definitely has a softer feel then the white profiles but the tipping helps bring down spin a bit. I believe the BF has both the MR70 and boron so although it's a smoother more mid/mid profile i found the feel amazing and the spin as low as anything else when tipped.

The EvenFlow white is very very smooth as well and can be had for dirt cheap if you want to just try it.

Hzrdus Black, Black Smoke, Yellow and Gree should do it. Smooth, low launch, low spin and very accurate.

I put a Black Smoke 60x in a 10.5 M5 set all the way open with weights on toe. Low launch and say good bye to left side of fwy.

Just to clarify, this is true for the standard Rogue White shaft, but the TX version is a completely different profile. Basically the Silver with an even stiffer butt section and higher balance point.

Regarding the OP, lots of great recommendations here. The Mitsubishi stuff tends to commonly be on the smoother side, especially the Tensei shafts with the super high density butt sections. Even though its not really practical (unless you can get a good use deal), the Diamana X'17 is the smoothest shaft I have ever hit. Despite the flex of mine and ridiculous 1.9* of torque, it is still smoother than most other shafts in its category a full flex softer. Keep an eye out on eBay for pulls as they can occasionally be had for reasonable prices, they really are in their own league.

Now that I've got a better understanding of what you have used/were fit for, then I think you'd really like Accra RPG Blue. It has the same sort of EI profile as the Modus 120TX. I don't know of any Accra shafts that don't have extremely smooth feel but aren't low spin for their class. This is going to be a really good for you. Don't be scared to go to the Stiff version (M4+), this guy is super super stiff. It is their Tour Z/TZ profile on steroids, like the X7 is Dynamic Gold X100 on steroids.

The Hzrdus Black is a really good shaft if it fits you. I've never been able to get the shaft to work for me. I feel like I have to almost swing out of my shoes to get it to load, and then I pull it dead left, lol.

I'm currently using an Aldila Tour Green 65s and it's very easy for me to load right now. I also have an Evenflow White t1100 sitting in the closet that I like, but I won't start messing with that unit this summer when I start playing and practicing more.
