Smoothest low/low driver shaft

Was looking for something with this profile and Ventus Black was perfect. Never looking back from this one.

Check out maple hill golf online they have rogue x70 for around $120 or hulk green for $130 and are legit you can even talk to humans on the phone!

Have gamed all of the below.  I like a smooth shaft where I can feel it load and get just a hint of kick through the ball.

The Tour Green (65TS) is an unbelievable, underrated shaft.  Like your favorite pair of broken-in jeans.  I keep coming back to this shaft and have picked up several backups off the 'bay.

 

'ahina, Green Mamba and DF:  I feel like I need to step on these a bit to make them work, but they are all 60X/TX and probably too much for my 105ish SS.  You might like them in a 60S.

 

The Smoke Black (6.0) is also pretty solid.  Smooth, long, I can shape it both ways.  This is currently fighting with the Tour Green for space in my bag.

 

I just picked up the Rogue Silver (60TS), we'll see if it holds up to its grandparent (Tour Green).

KBS TD’s are really smooth.  I’ve played a category 4 for about the last 3 months until I somehow put a crack in it like an idiot.  
 

I’ve got a Velocore on the way to try out until I can snag another KBS off eBay.

Yea check em out, I’ve never used them personally but I know plenty of others who have. Reach out to them and they will send you whatever shafts you are interested in using for a demo period. I’m not sure about specific lengths or tipping requirements, but prices seem reasonable enough.

Sure agree with you on the Tour Green. I play a 105 TX in my hybrid, and nothing in my feels as good (except my C-taper 130s, 5-GW).

I did the same thing in my 20* 818H2.

 

How does that Tour Green compare to the HZRDUS you have in your U500?  And which HZRDUS do you have? Black, Smoke Black?  Have been thinking of swapping out the C-Taper Lite in my MP18 Fli-Hi...

That's funny, I was thinking of putting a C-taper Lite *IN* !
Honestly, I don't love the HZRDUS. It's the Black 6.5, will have to doublecheck shaft markings later today. Came standard from the factory. Feels kind of robotic and lifeless to me. I was going to swap it out. Not sure with what. I still like C-Taper 130 down into my Srixon i-302 3-iron. Considering an MMT Taper 115 TX.

Tour Green TX feels like a good old yew bow. Like excellent quality wood. Dense and firm with just the right amount of give. Muted, neutral, but with personality. It works WITH you. The HZRDUS feels like a silent guard outside Buckingham Palace that won't acknowledge your existence.

I agree with this take.  It loads just a bit without feeling loose.  Its on my short list of favorite shafts ever.

if your looking for something cheap, I like the aldila voodoo green 7x very smooth with some punch and can get them pretty cheap now since they are about 10 years old

Graphite Design P9003 is the smoothest low/low I have ever played.

Tour AD GP is 2nd.

Oban Devotion 3rd.

 Oban about 1/2 the price of the others.

It's more low-mid launch, low spin.
