I'm playing the Royal Linktech Cord grips. Amazing grip that nobody knows about. Made of the same soft but long lasting (actual) rubber that made Royal famous years ago. They take the same rubber and add a nice soft cord for all weather use. Plus it has the minimum taper that is currently popular. To top it off they are only $4.99 available only from Golfworks who purchased Royal a while back. These grips are pretty much maintenance free unlike much of the current Golf Pride and Lamkin grips. They don't tend to get slick or dusty after a couple rounds. I will wipe them off every week or two just out of habit however.

I am a Lamkin user. I switched to the Sonar Midsize last year and love these grips. They are extremely tacky, and the compound maintains it's tackiness as long as you clean them on a regular basis. My grips are just as tacky a year later, as they were when I first put them on. I also was able to stop wearing a glove last year, as these are not rough on the hands. Getting rid of a golf glove has been really nice.

Golf Pride MCC Red/Black midsize on everything. Always changing but have kept going back to these. Now that they have midsize tour velvet cords I'll likely be making the change once the quarantine is over and things open back up.

I've used Golf Pride tour velvet full cords for a while now but they seem to be getting more and more expensive at the moment so I'm going to give the multi compounds a go and start regripping myself!

Z Cords... Lamkin UTX are my absolute favorite, but they weren't an option when I ordered my Mizuno irons. Z Cords were an acceptable alternative. When they wear out - which may be a while - UTX will go back on everything.

Do Tour Velvets really wear out that fast? Been debating switching to them from NDMC - figure the regular TV are almost half the price so even if I re-grip more often probably coming out ahead. Unsure if I will miss the cord though of NDMC.

yea, they wear out pretty fast esp. compared to NDMC but they are alot cheaper. You have to change Tour Velvets pretty often if you want to keep the grip nice, otherwise they lose the tackiness and become hard/slick.

The longest lasting grip I've used is IOMIC, I use one in my driver usually and have been using NDMC in my irons, these have been my grips for a few years and I like them. Would like to switch it up just for fun so looking around, Z Grip cord might be worth a try.
