Callaway XT teen set

Hey everyone, has anybody had any experience with this set? I may be able to get a great deal but wanted to know how they compare to US kids tour series and Flynn. Thanks!

The general rule is those are toys or garbage vs USKG or Flynn. I have zero experience with those but I did buy a Cobra set at first (because it was $100 on black Friday ), there is a night and day difference between box sets and what USKG offers for example. Not knowing anything about your kid ss skill, USKG probably the best kids clubs out there.

How old is your kid? Height? As stated above, general opinion is the box sets are toys and garbage. As @darter79 says above, the USKG and Flynn golf sets are day & night from those box sets. I would also add that the Ping Prodigy sets have been getting very good reviews here although I have no experience.
Easy answer is find a USKG set. If you are just beginning, check on eBay for a used set if $400 for a new set seems a bit much. I have USKG TS-51 v10 iron set (5,6,7,8,9,P,GW,SW + 3W + D) available.

I wouldn't touch an OEM Teen Set.

I’m a little late to the party, but based on my experience with the XJ Hot set (precursor to the XT) you absolutely should go Flynn or US Kids. When my son was in his 2nd and 3rd years of playing, the Callaway’s were great to get him playing but soon he advanced beyond what that set can deliver.. The Callaway shafts are literally like wet linguini for anyone who can swing a club.

 

We then moved up to Flynn Golf for him and have been nothing but impressed. You pick the clubs, the head weights, the shafts and the lengths - all for a very reasonable price. I’d start there.

Yes sir. OEM kids clubs are complete garbage. They are there for the consumer that doesn't know what they are purchasing. They are also for the consumer to tell their buddies (buddies that usually don't know anything about golf) they just purchased their kid Callaway Clubs. Truth of the matter is USKG and Flynn are much higher quality and fit better.
