Ebay seller GolfPartnerUSA (from Japan)...legit or not?

Anybody have experience with this outfit? They state they are the largest reseller of used golf equipment in Japan with a large number of brick and mortar stores. They also have a fairly legit looking website. They have quite a few listings of used equipment at reasonable prices. Only 200+ feedback with the only 2 negatives being for shipping related issues. I am seeing quite a few Titleist shafts with the same number on the shaft adapter, some match the number that is on some of the full clubs as well. Should this number be unique? No idea about the titleist clubs but they’re a large seller of used clubs on rakuten as well. Almost bought some clubs from them but changed my mind (didn’t really need more irons).

As far as I'm concerned, they are OUTSTANDING!!! I was looking for a Mavrik Sub Zero on Ebay. Found exactly what I was looking for from GolfPartner at a decent price with FREE SHIPPING. Noticed the Japan location but wasn't too concerned because I was in no hurry. Ordered on a Monday morning around  9:00 A.M. and at 11:00 A.M. that Wednesday got an E-mail stating it was delivered. Yes, that's correct. Two days from Chiba, Japan to Wisconsin. I can't get s*** shipped from Chicago in 2 days. The club was listed as used but I couldn't find a blemish or scuff on it. I can guarantee this is not counterfeit. I know my equipment. Hit it and it's fantastic. I will and have highly recommend them to anyone.

Had the exact same experience with them.  Top notch to deal with!

 

One thing to keep in mind, you may get hit with import taxes.  You won’t know until you get an invoice from FedEx as I did.  Showed up about a week after the clubs were delivered.

I purchased and received a Titleist TS2 driver that was packaged perfectly and came with a tool and nice head cover.  I'm just a bit concerned over the serial number.  The Titleist site doesn't recognize the number and it is vertical along the hosel. Others I've seen in local shops are horizontal.

Its probably the Japanese version. Callaway has trouble finding the Japanese serial numbers as well unless you speak to a specific person in the USA departments.

 

Its a legit driver, you dont have to worry.

Agree here, I’ve bought from Golf Partner multiple times and I’ve never been disappointed.  The clubs are always packaged extremely well.  They care for the clubs unlike some of the US based companies that toss things in a box with no protection.  Further, they will get to you from Japan faster than places like Global or 3 balls which are only a few states away…

 

Mark my words, in time Golf Partner is gonna be a big player once word gets out.  Catch them on their 20 or 30% sales and the deals are great!

 

I always start there first now when I’m shopping for something!
