I do. Ive played them Since a couple weeks before they hit stores. So all last season and this past winter.

although lately at home I have cheated on them a bit in practice with my old titleist 681 proto set. A truly one of a kind set. Think tigers titleist irons before they got the T . My set was a backup set made for Matt Jones. There’s a good chance they see playing time Saturday. But not set yet. Lol. All this time to think is dangerous.

I hit a little chip with the 60 from the Bermuda rough in FW and it was ok, he turned round and said yes you need the leading edge on all our wedges; they won't make much of a difference on your links golf but will in Texas.

The putter is not bad either, something about clubs with a particular history or story behind them just make you want to practice more so can use them to best effect.?

It’s a huge difference for me. And as far as I can see doesn’t hurt when I do play a sand based softer course. What area do you normally play In?

Yep it got nasty down here the other Monday morning. Rain blowing sideways like a hurricane. Since I retired I only truck a couple of days a week. I was home thank goodness. Stayed in all day. I needed the rest. Have been playing quite a bit of golf since I retired and have lost weight without really trying

Well. I actually hit the 4 hybrid a good 15 yards farther in the air. It’s just a really good fitting club. And it’s a mid trajectory flight but. I can also hit a hard low squeeze fade with it. Which is usually not a hybrid thing.

I had a 3 hybrid head on this shaft and it just pushes my 3 wood too closely , it was too long

the 3 iron is mostly a tee club. My home course requires it or a hard 4 iron at least 4 times a round. You need something you can squeeze out 200-220 low and get on the ground quick to take OB out of play. I have also used it to feed into par 5s sometimes when it’s hard and the ball is rolling.

but I agree. The grind works for both. Somehow it doesn’t seem to hinder one but helps another situation. And Jamie and Mike have to be the best people to deal with ever. I just cannot imagine how they’d improve it. Mike even sent me a care and instruction sheet for the raw wedge plus a recommendation for keeping groves clean always for max life. Plus a note that they will do face/groove refinishes up to 3 times on raw wedges , to extend the life for a very reasonable fee.

I am drooling! I am waiting for my blueprints to come from Ping. Staggered the lie angles on them. Also have a G410 19* hybrid and SIM driver. I am very jealous of those Artisans! They are on the dream list. For now it isSM8 and MD raw.

Seems to be BS. He's in a "timeout" - no specifics given as to when he can return - he notices he can post again and, rightly IMO, assumes if he can post then the timeout is over and someone jumps his butt about the fact he's posting and now he's got the jail thing going. Can't see how that is his fault and guessing one of a few folks that don't like him decided to report their displeasure he was posting again or just simple error in moderation which seems to have escalated for no apparent reason. Disappointing.

For those that are thinkin, “well, if you don’t like it why do ya post,” one, I hardly post at all any more and secondly, the only reason that I do post is cuz of guys like Blade, Hawk, Mitch, Drew, Obes and Patrick(@rangersgoalie) plus ALL of the “regulars,” who are super guys that I’d love to split the fairways with and have a couple at the 19th afterwards.

I guess the third reason is that occasionally one of ya drops a post or a thread that is sooooo friggin asinine, surpassing even my craziest stuff, that I’ve just gotta respond. Plus, I’m a WRX member and will continue to support the site with my membership and I figure that that at least allows me to take the occasional passive aggressive chirp?
