Aldila NV pink

Would you use it?
Was having a chat with my local pro who as asking me how my FT-3 had been so far. He had one and was using an Aldila NV-75X. He said it was a great combination and had bought some for stock. Three of these will be in the NV pink shaft. Ok so the NV is a good shaft, but would you ever buy it in pink? I have some reservations about it. Interested in your own opinion.

Do a search and you will see I posted some pics of HomStylz bag, he carries a Pink NV85X in one of this drivers. I got another new "toy" that he shafting with another pink NV85X. I'll let him share the toy once it's been tested.

I'm being brought round to the idea. It goes to a good cause which is great and seeing as most of you would use it I don't see why not. Fancy replacing the NV green on my 4+ wood with one.

First off, don't buy the shaft because aldila will donate 1/2 of a percent of the profit from their pink shaft sales to breast cancer research. That is a tax write off for them, not the golfer. If anyone is serious about donating go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation's website and donate until your heart is content. Shoot, drinking a can of Coke that you bought at Circuit City with your Visa card while watching The Apprentice will do more for cancer research as these are all corporate sponsors, but not Aldila. Sorry, don't like to be preachy but I don't like the segue from Paula Creamer and metro-cool to artificial social awareness. . . that said:

I would absolutely play that shaft!

I would and did - twice. I liked it in my driver so much, I just got one for my 3w.

I would play a Diamana pink shaft but not a NV. Don't like it don't know why but its never felt great in any driver I have tried. But I would play a pink shaft. I think it would create some serious trash talking. Maybe Fred Funk should have some light pink and purple shafts in his clubs. I know he's a great golfer but it would be funny.

I dislike the NV not stout enough for me i prefer either the speeder 757 or the Diamana 83, in a driver..... but as far as pink goes then ...YES i would definately play it. Im not afraid to wear pink, lavender etc. I am very secure in my masculinity. PINK is a great color for the golf course.

two things:

1) the pants....gotta go (are they from the Ian Poulter line?)

2) what tour head does he have that accepts a .350 tip shaft???

(that's what the shaft has on it)

just curious........
