7 brands in just the clubs, plus two more if you count balls and the bag itself. So, 9 in total.

I've never felt even the slightest twinge to consolidate to fewer brands. The only place the brands are consistent are in the irons 5-PW. Everything else is a mishmash that I've grown very comfortable with. I don't believe there is any need to make my wedges match my irons, or my irons match my hybrids. They'd be so different in utility, anyway, even if they were of the same make.

For a mixed bag I was surprised I have only 5 brands and that number could go down or up depending on my next fitting. I just don't think there are many brands I could do a full bag with honestly.

Today I played 5 brands clubs+ball: Callaway woods, Cobra hybrid, Callaway irons, Mizuno wedges, Bettinardi putter, TP5 ball.

If I stick to the plan and shelf my Apex MBs in July, my late Summer bag may be up to 8 brands: Ping or Cobra driver, Cobra woods, Callaway or Ping hybrid, Hogan irons, SCOR & Bettinardi wedges, Piretti putter, TP5.
