I like keeping it simple. I've got Taylormade driver and fairway wood and then Wilson Staff hybrid, irons, wedges, and putter.

12 clubs is all you need:

Driver: Mizuno MP The Craft 611 9* w/ UST V2 Black 7f5

Fairway Wood: Taylormade V-Steel (paint break) 15* w/ UST HTD5

Hybrid: Adams Super 9031 Proto Black 20* w/ Matrix Altus X

Irons: 4-9 Hogan '99 Apex raw w/ KBS C-taper stiff

Wedges: 50* and 56* Nike Engage raw with Nippon 125X soft stepped spinners

Putter: Hakusa milled putter

Bag: Shapland Stand Bag

I’m a sucker for Titleist. I’ve tried to be brand agnostic and somehow always find my way back to them. Numbers on LM are usually pretty close with other brands but when I get out on the course I just feel the most confident/comfortable with their stuff. I only game Srixon Z stars because I get them cheap. Would play ProV1. Current setup is

TS3 9.5 Tour AD GP 7x

917 F3 15 Tour AD DI 8x

818 H2 19 AD DI 115X

Titleist ZB 4-PW PX 6.0

Vokey 52,56,60

Cameron Teryllium Newport

Have 716 CB’s in the mail which I’m really pumped about.

Used to be an exclusive Taylormade guy top to bottom (just couldn't beat the "last year's model" sales...). Even wore Adidas shoes, Taylormade glove, the whole 9 yards...

Currently I have 3 though.

I went from the way of a lot of variance when I was young to just two brands in the bag now. I have a hard time with anything that isn't a Titleist driver, that old 909F2 may never leave the bag. The driving iron is the place where, if another manufacturer was going to crack my bag this would be the slot. The T-MB is great but so are the PING's, Srixon's and others. I love the Mizuno forgings in the irons, the Vokey wedges just feel familiar and I've no reason to change them and I'll probably always have a Scotty or three in the truck. It's not by design, it's just the way it worked out. The only manufacturer I tend to stay away from is TaylorMade. I hate their stupid marketing and choose to not buy their products because of it.

Titleist TSi3 8º - LAGP TOUR AXS BLU 70X
Titleist 909F2 15.5º - OG Grafalloy blue X
Titleist U500 18º HZDRUS Black Smoke RDX 6.5
Mizuno MP-5,  4-9 C-Taper 130
Vokey 47º, 52º, 56º, 60 C-Taper
Scotty Special Select Newport 2
Titleist Left Dash -ProV1x

6! used to be only one. Play what works. Chances are if you have only one brand in your bag (and you aren’t on staff) you’re more about vanity than performance.

2i - Ping G410 crossover

Irons + Wedges - Titleist 718 MBs, SM7

Putter - Odyssey Stroke Lab #7

I feel like your wedges and irons should be the same brand because they will blend in nicely with consist feel and feedback..

Putter is completely subjective.

Your woods can differ from the rest of your set because most people have different irons swings from their wood/driver swing.

As for my 2i - I have tested the Titleist U500/510, and they are amazing - but this Ping crossover is just a beaute!

    • APPLY NOW: L.A.B. Golf MEZZ.1 Putter (Early Access) Member Testing! 10 Testers Needed!
L.A.B. Golf is choosing ten GolfWRX members to receive their MEZZ.1 putter early and put their brand new product to the test before reporting back to the community about what they see. The selected testers will be one of the first to experience the MEZZ.1 from L.A.B. GOLF, their newest Lie Angle Balanced design, ahead of it's January 2022 launch!

About The L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Putter
MEZZ.1 is our new mid-mallet putter that’s fully CNC machined from a billet of 6061 aircraft aluminum (body) and 303 stainless steel (midsection) to create our best-feeling — and we think best looking — putter to date. It includes 10 weights (eight on the bottom, two on the sides) that allow us to individually build each putter to a golfer’s exact specifications.

      How To Apply
In a post below, answer the following questions.

      1. City, State?
      2. Handicap?
      3. What is your current putter?
      4. Have you ever used a L.A.B. Golf putter?
      5. Why do you want to review the MEAZZ.1 putter?
      6. Do you agree to participate in an ongoing testing thread, posting reviews and photos?

That's it! @labgolf and GolfWRX will choose the testers in about 2 weeks! This testing event is for good-standing members in the USA only!
