Who can build or replicate a putter for me? Any recommendations please TIA

I have an odyssey putter I would like duplicated in stainless steel with a sound slot. I haven't posted in a while but any suggestions as to who could do that would be great.

A lot of guys can but a 1 off putter might cost you a small fortune if it's milled. Maybe try MannKrafted or MackMade.

Yeah. My first thought was also Mack Made. I’m sure he could design and make it, but he would probably have to make a custom vice which could cost a lot. He is very reasonable though. This Gauge Design Hummer P below is kind of similar-ish...

I think that's going to be a very heavy putter if made from stainless steel. Usually putters with a footprint that big incorporate aluminum, carbon fiber, or some kind of plastic to keep the weight in a normal range.

 

You might also contact Kyle at Bastain Milled to see if that's something he could produce. As stated above, a one-off milled putter will not be cheap.

I don't think you could duplicate the putter I'm using even if I gave you the pieces.

You would be surprised what they are capable of -- you should reach out to them if you're serious about replicating something difficult -- 3D printers are able to do a lot more than milling machines

It’s one of golf’s ultimate sucker bets duplicate the 8802 I used for seventeen years or the 8813 I use currently. I’m well aware of Jeff McCoy’s capabilities. He ground the sand wedge I used to win a couple of senior directional championships in your state when he was with Scratch Golf. And I’ve been around 3-D printing for prototypes since the 90s.

 

I’ve attached a pictures of my 8813 with a satin oil can finish and an 8813 head I bought yesterday. I have one last NOS Royal Paddle grip. A NOS Scotty Cameron Napa / Santa Fe flare tip shaft with step downs. The shaft’s EI profile is within the margin of error of mine. The grip is within a gram of mine. I’ll give you the same instructions I gave Ken Flanigan for milling and machining.  And I’ll give you the specifications. Finally, BOS Golf will put a satin oil can finish on this head.

 

All this will not give you duplicate of my putter. Heck, I won’t know if the putter head is any good until I put a shaft on it and putt with it.

Buy a stainless putter and have an insert made.  Would be way cheaper.

The problem with putters is simple. Will it roll the ball well eg hunt or have that little extra runout? You never know until you putt with it awhile.

Duplicating  putters is hard and it isn’t possible to copy the putters I use.
