Stopped playing my '71 Wilson Staffs, the button-back model, only because I don't want to loose one of the buttons. I have 1-SW in good condition and want to keep them that way. That said, I am currently look to buy a set of 69's or 76's to play.

Ahh, TN-87's, to me they are the best irons ever, they are very rare to find, if I can ever find me a set in good condition I will jump on it and will never let them go again.

My Dad has a set of the McGregor tourney Customs. 1-SW. The 1 iron looks like a butter knife. What is amazing they are still in original sock covering and in the original box that shipped from McGregor. I will take pictures while I am home for the holidays.

MIZUNO MS-9's, break em out once and a while to see if I can still make a "good swing".
Used them in my 20's now in my mid 40's I think the Precision 7.0's are a bit too much for most human beings.

I really love my bargain TP-19's. I got a 6, 8 and PW from a cash-converts for £1 each! Just wish I had the full set!

Even a golf muppet like me can tell how good they are when you make a pure contact. Only problem is I can't do this any where near often enough to play with them.

Oh, the old forged stuff was the best. I still want to pick up a set sometime over the winter. Probably MP29s, or TP-19s if I can come accross a good set. MP29s are not tough to find, still tons out there in good shape. When I was in Highschool before I played the Apex Pcs, I had a set of Wilson X-31s , which were great, they had a unique feel to them. I also played a set of Apexs from 1978 I think it was I got off an assistant. Loved those.

have got mizuno tp18's 4 to sw..lovely clubs..got them second hand and take them out occaisonally..as long as you use a good quality ball they still feel like butter..sw and pw show quite a bit of wear but otherwise still in good condition..

I play my Hogan Redlines once a week. It really tells you where your iron game is. I got a great condition E wedge this spring to replace the one I had.

My dad gave me these MacGregor VIP's. They are in great shape and I will never have the skill to use them. They sure are pretty.

My gamers are Hogan Apex Redline 1988, 9 to 3 iron. I only play these. I bought them off Ebay 2 years ago, they had only had ten rounds in them. They kicked my Mizuno MP-37 out of the bag.

I have a set of 1983 Golden Ram Tour Grinds that I bought new after learning on a set of Haig Ultras. Not a lot of forgiveness but the ball just launches off the face, I put them in the bag whenever I need to feel pure excellence.

I've got a set of 1969 Wilson Staff Bullet Backs I play about 3 or 4 times a year.
Also have Wilson Staff tour blade 1 iron circa '79 or "80 I take to the range for self flagulation.

Take out the old TM ICW5's every once and a while just to feel the old pain again. Not too sure if they are forged or not though. Cant believe I tried to learn to play with these things.
