I love the smaller club head, but off-center hits really penalize me. But I do think the shaft may play a factor, original PX 6.0 hzrdus black (which feels a bit like swinging a 2x4, almost zero load), Aldila Rogue Silver arrives tmw and can’t wait to swap it out and see the difference)

I’ll be honest though, I wish I could try 9.0 and 10.5!

 

What is the biggest factor in buying a new driver?I can get 275+ yds pretty consistently, and 300 isn’t out of my range, so distance Isn’t a key factor. I’ve been tracking fairways and GiR....Wouldn’t ya know it, when I hit a fairway I tend to also hit a green. And when those two things happen, guess what...I tend to make par or better. So hitting fairways is my number 1 goal!

Do you adjust your drivers after buying?I have certainly adjusted my driver, taken out weights, added weights.

Current Driver Setup?currently play a Cobra F7+ set at 10.5D with a PX hzrdus Black 6.0. Too boardy and finally ordered an Aldila Rogue Silver 110 60S. Can’t wait to test it out (hit one at golf galaxy and fell in love immediately)

Were you fit for that driver?no, I wasn’t, previously had a cobra for 10 yrs right out of college and loved it so when it came time to upgrade, looked for another Cobra.

9 XWhen it comes to a new driver I will not purchase unless there is some noticeable improvements. More distance which is hard to come by these days. Better launch conditions or more forgiveness.
