So I pretty much bought the entire Cobra 2020 line up and stuff has been slowly coming in. One of the first items was a speedzone big tour and they sent a wedge, so I thought they were sending out wrong clubs on purpose to get people to return the clubs since they technically do not do exchanges.

I had a warranty question for them today on clubs that I bought last year through Discount Dans and got some BS cop out response, which I took as them being butt hurt from the leaked codes. They should just own it. It’s not like they are losing money on these sales. Even if it’s very little to no profit, they are getting more brand awareness and I would bet that most of us would not have bought this stuff if the codes didn’t exist.

My F9 is in Texas, just not in my part of Texas. So my fingers are crossed that it might show up tomorrow even though the tracking page shows Monday.

Got a visit from the FedEx guy today, who yelled "FORE" as he drove away.

Swapped the grip, now giving it a few hours to dry (and for the sun to start going down) before I hit the range around 6pm. Hopefully I can find a setting I like before my 7:45am tee time. Might bag 2 drivers tomorrow.

I got a few range swings on my F9 today. I had planned on bagging 2 drivers tomorrow morning, but I think I'm going to leave my old faithful Fly-Z at home.

Mine has been at the local fedex facility since Saturday, with a delivery for today, but still at the facility and not on a truck. Guess I have a few more hours. Was hoping to use the SZ Extreme for my round in the morning too!

I received my stuff a week or so ago and the plan was to replace the top end except for the driver really. The F9 is not quite as good as my Mavrik SZ but it is pretty close so I may keep it as a backup. As far as the 3wd, 5wd and 4H goes, I like my old clubs better which is a bummer so these will not be staying !

I was so excited to receive my stuff. They nailed the build on my 3 wood and hybrid but when I opened my irons and picked them up, I knew they felt short. I went and got the 5 iron measured and the guy in the shop told me the club was almost a half inch shorter than what I ordered. I had to call Cobra and reorder the set so back to the waiting game for me.

Cobra Woods always measures .25" shorter for me than what they state. Big Tour is supposed to be 43.25" and is 43" on the nose. Irons I always feel like measure to actual length which is weird.

The CS rep explained they measure using the end of the grip. But even with the grip, the club tech said it was still basically a half inch off which kind of blows my mind how that can leave the factory like that. Of course I sold my irons with the expectations that I can just take the new irons out of the box and put them in the bag...

I measure with the grip too, and their woods are always .25" short.

Just a thought on the length issue. Cobra includes the arccos grips on all their clubs now. These grips are 1/4” longer than a normal grip to make room for the sensor. Cobra probably cuts the shafts to be the right length for the arccos grips, so if you order a “standard” grip, you end up 1/4” short if measuring to the end of the grip.

All this would be a non issue if all manufacturers would measure and list specs without grips.

In this case the across isn't the issue. Across clubs are supposed to be 43.25". Without 43". Mine has it and is 43".
