I heard they are going for $800 aftermarket (head only) because they were limited quantity with no more being made. Also, confirmed with a tour guy that the "TA" serial heads are exact same as the "TC" serial tour issue heads.

Ok. I figured he was reputable, especially if he is one of the shops that got a handful of the heads and getting recommendations here. Just was wondering if people are reaching out through PM’s on the site, if he had a store like Will Peoples or if folks are just going through his website via number or email. Thats all.

I only deal with Will for my special projects. Hit him up for the Triples. Anyway couple of thoughts:

Did 10.5 head with the Tensei Raw AV White (stiff).

Triple Diamond head - Sound is fantastic and muted. Not sure about the comments on going right all the time, I found the head to be very stable and easy to turn in either direction. Overall I really liked the playability and forgiveness. Didn’t find it to be biased in any direction.

AV White - Feels a lot like the Tensei Pro CK White, but stiffer with great control.

Overall a great combo. It’s playing about the same length as my retail 10.5 head with the CK Pro White, but the Triple head feels a more stable on off center hits.

Agreed. Bought a couple of Veylix Alpina Wildeye 673 shafts a few years back from JD on Ebay. Great seller.

Haven't put it on the monitor yet but brought 3 heads with me to the course. Retail SZ, Retail Max and Triple Diamond, all 10.5 and just switched the AV shaft over after each 6 holes. The Max is a spin machine, launching super high and going left all the time. Retail SZ is the lowest launching for me and very punitive on low face hits. I'd call the Triple right in between. Once I get some data I can post. At the end of the day I believe this head is more about feel, sound and overall face forgiveness.

How are you guys feeling in relation to swing speed for the Triple Diamond version, compared to original SZ? Thought they released that for high SS???

I don’t think you need a high SS for Triple Diamond. It’s actually a higher spin head than the retail SZ. It’s really more about wanting a neutral to fade bias, more forgiving/workable head than the regular SZ. If your miss is higher on club face and more toe side, the triple diamond heads will be to your liking, imo...

I don’t find it fade biased, but definitely easier to control than a sub zero. Sound is great and feel is superb.

Did you reach out to Will Peoples or JD's Clubs? I found this with a quick google search. Maybe reach out to see if they'll sell just a head? I haven't bought from them before, so I cannot speak to their service. Driver

Funny thing is I talked to Callaway corporate and they said they had no announcement as of this time as to a release for a Mavrik triple Diamond at this time....
