What low/low driver shaft have you liked best in recent years

I'm looking for a new driver shaft in my MAVRIK. I swing around 119-122 club head speed average with a quick transition. The shaft I liked the most were 7M3 black tie and fuji 7.2 Tour Spec. I haven't really agreed with anything new in the past 2-3 years, Any ideas?

The black tie is great, and Fuji Pro 2.0 TS 8x was really good for me even tho it is technically low/mid. I just ordered a PXG proto with the Tensei Pro Whtie 80tx. It's the shaft I was last fit into and produced the best numbers on trackman for me last season but couldn't pull the trigger on price. I fortunately won a PXG Instagram contest so that's why the new one is going in lol

 

For reference, I am around 123-125 so sounds like a similar profile. I prefer the heavier driver shafts as it brings my dispersion in a ton.

T1100 hzrdus 75 are a few low/low shafts Ive liked.

Nothing wrong with the old standbys, diamana 73xwb, Diamana Ahina 70x still like the feel of these shafts. They can handle a good amount of tipping and still feel good.

I'm about 119-120 mph with my normal swing and just got fit into the Mitsubishi Diamana DF 70 TX. Loving this shaft so far and it looks so good with the shiny silver ion plating you can only see from the side. It's low to mid launch and low spin according to their site. Expensive but worth it. Tested Mitsubishi Pro Orange, Pro White, an Accra low/low, and a few PX shafts and none were as good as the DF. Had a Ventus Black 70x before this but that was not close to being stiff enough and was spinning so high.

I have used the Black Tie in probably 6-7 drivers in the past 4 years. Great shaft and readily available in 80G on Ebay (at least it was after the company had financial problems)

I've been using the Atmos TS Black this season and i find it very impressive. Smoother feeling than the Matrix and i would argue lower launching though i have not done a true direct comparison

I am not as fast as you guys, probably around 111-112 but that's a guess. I have probably lost some speed due to being quarantined haha

Tensei Orange Pro. 70 TX was low, low. 60 was pretty smooth while keeping spin down.

Tensei PO definitely a good low/low shaft but had to add a lot of headweight to get the swingweight up since it's so counterbalanced.

Another not mentioned yet that I play in my driver is AD BB 7x.

True. I have an EFSZ trip diamond and swapped a 14 gram weight in on the face side. Had a 4 Gram weight with the Oban

Diamana D+ LTD 70 in a TX flex. Similar numbers and quick transition that you have. Very stable, never felt loose and best dispersion numbers for me. Seemed to handle whatever I threw at it. Currently trying the Diamana ZF in a TX. A lot of folks said it was closer to the DF than the BF but I find it to be very close to the BF. Definitely feel a lot more movement in the shaft and requires a less violent transition. I will be going back to a Whiteboard profile shortly or trying out the PX Hulk shaft.

D+/Whiteboard is the Toyota Camry of low launch shafts now LOL.....it's the GOAT but it just seems so boring to recommend now

And i LOVE that shaft. I used that family for probably 10 years and still love it.

Evenflow T1100 - The best all rounder I've used. Sad I sold it in the end. Might look to find one in 6.5 again. The 6.0 plays about 6.25 I thought which is perfect for those stuck between too soft in 6.0 and too boardy in 6.5

Hazrdus Smoke - felt a little lifeless? Worked well in my previous TM UDI 2i.

T1100 HZRDUS was my favorite by far. Tested D+, LTD, Pro white/Orange, Rogue white 130TX, Hulk, Smoke Black, Tz5/6, RPG, and Ventus Black

I have a RIP X 75 X on it's way to me right now, curious to see how it does... I've always gotten along with Aldila shafts and found them to be low launch... Currently gaming a Silver 110 and very happy with it.

Apparently the new LA golf shafts are low launching as well, they are what matrix became after they went bankrupt, I believe... I've heard mixed reviews of them, but Johnny Wunder (a golfWRX podcaster) called one of them the lowest launching shafts he had ever hit.

I hear ya. You even see guys on tour like Tiger and Koepka tinker with other stuff for a practice round or two but always seems to come back to the old trusty whiteboard. It's insane how many WITB you still see with whiteboard in the woods, DG X100 in the irons and DG S400 in the wedges. It's like the catch-all bag on tour probably because they all grew up trying to copy Tiger.

Pro White is a phenomenal shaft. I tried one in an M1 440, and good luck keeping spin on that thing, Ended up going for a standard M1. That combo was an absolute spin killer anywhere high on the club face. I think it might have been the head, I remember a lot of tour guys putting it int he bag and getting rid of it really quickly as well.

 

But the BB7x is probably my favorite shaft of all time. I had one in a covert tour, and that thing while sounding like absoulte dog doo, was just so good.
