Vegas Golf Courses

My buddy and I are headed to Vegas for the 4th of July. We are wanting to get in a couple days of golf. We've already played LV National, The Revere (Both Courses), Bali Hai, and Legacy. Where would you suggest for a couple of mid single digit handicaps to play for a test but also a good time?

I have a friend who lives in Henderson so when I visited Vegas back on October, I played a round with him at Chimera Golf Club in Henderson. Still close enough to the strip.

He called it a "hidden gem" and i'd have to agree with him! It was in a gated community but a public course! Views were nice, layout was great, nice fairways and nice greens, people working there were very cool, clubhouse was great (although not sure what theyre doing these days), and food was good! I remember it being pretty moderately priced as well but I think my buddy gets a "local rate" and his guests get the same rate. WIth that said, i could be biased since i had one of my best rounds at that course! LOL!!

For your criteria I would say Rio Secco and TPC Vegas Or just play 2 courses out at Paiute/

TPC has been one of the courses we're thinking about, Any review on Reflection Bay?

I second those 2 courses, also add Arroyo & Rhodes Ranch.

Lived out there last year and played Rhodes probably 3x/week. Good course usually in solid condition, but a local track that gets played a ton and pace usually suffers. They started construction on it when I was leaving around Oct and we’re reconfiguring a few holes so could be a bit different now.

Bears Best is fun because it’s essentially all unique holes from Nicklaus’s choosing. Price is usually pretty decent as well.

Mesquite (Wolf creek - summer rates should be fair and it’s wolf creek..) and Paiute (Wolf course @ the resort) aren’t too bad of a drive away as well.

Yes Rhodes is doing construction on a few holes. But the greens were pretty quick when I played last week. Pace of play at Rhodes, Bears Best, Siena, & Arroyo are not too bad on the weekdays. Usually a 3 1/2 - 4 hour round.

Cascata is our only top 100ish course, excluding Shadow Creek.
