Will be doing a re-shaft to PX 6.5's in my Apex Pros this week from the DG TI 120 X100's.  Better feel and flight, great set of heads, but a bit clicky at times.

Absolutely still in the bag, will try the new Srixon zx7's when they come out though. Hard to beat cf19 in looks, performance, and forgiveness. I've tried most everything and to me they are the best combination of distance, feel, and looks.

I played the CF19 Pro Combo for several months.  Loved the Pro short irons, but, on real world grass, I couldn’t hit the std Apex solid.  Offset?  Sole design?   Not sure. Felt like a sole issue to me; they felt grabby.   Was going to trade in and get a full set of Apex Pros, talked it through with a Callaway fitter, and went w Mavrik Pros.  His experience w the Apex Pro Combo was similar to mine and he strongly recommended the Mav Pros for me.  Less offset, thinner soles, etc. Have played them about 5 rounds and do enjoy them.

Too many zoomers with the Apex Pros.  They are long but I couldn’t control the distance and ball flight in the mid irons like I like.

Gotta love how a couple days can change things.  Found a NIW set of 718 AP2's for $900 cdn, so currently in the drying rack after a reshaft/grip and will give the Apex Pro's a run for their money.  It makes things easier that while I like the Apex, I don't love them.  That is why I can't seem to sell my I20s, or if I do, I just turn around and buy another set.

I just got fitted into these two months ago, outperformed everything else I tried on the cart. Very happy with results on the course as well. Won't be leaving my bag anytime soon.

Currently on holidays and took the Apex 19s over the 921 Tour gamers. 

 

I can't recall flyers being an issue when I used the play the Apex 19s regularly but two shots in two rounds still have me puzzled.

 

Both on Par 3's. Both what I thought were perfect strikes. Both ended up 10m over the back. One a 5 iron, the other an 8 iron.

 

The 5 iron cost me an A grade comp win too. Think I'll be permanently retiring these clubs now.

Absolutely love mine - easily beat out my MP-20 HMBs.  My iron game is the best it's been maybe ever.  I'm sure a big part of it is the shaft (Recoil 110 F4), but the look, sound, feel, and performance is just outstanding.  I even put a 4 iron back in the bag.

Still in the bag and will be for a while. I think they are the perfect blend of forgiveness with workability. I can't see how anyone would need anymore workability than these irons offer.

The one and only drawback with these is that the faces are very hot. It takes a little practice getting dialed for the 1/4 & 1/2 swing low cut/draw shots for getting out of trouble, they can be very touchy and hard to hit lightly. Been using them the entire time progressing from 15 to 3 hdcp, and there is still a lot left in them. I highly recommend these.

I just bought a set of used Apex 19. I came from JPX 919 Forged that I never really liked the look and feel of. The short irons just seemed thick to me and feel wasn't that great. I like the head shape of the Apex. The feel is a little weird as they feel soft yet can click. I played T-100 most of the summer but I found I was hitting a 7I 135-140 creating a pretty big gapping issue on both ends of the set. I was playing the stock AMT White in the T-100 so probably to much shaft for me. I bought the Apex with TT 95 Elevate shafts. Smooth out my swing and these fly really well. I have pretty good distance control in the lower irons, no flyers. The longest iron I have is a 5 iron and that thing is a rocket! Prob 30 yards further than the T-100. I know lofts are way different but there is for sure some extra ball speed in the long irons.
