New Project X LS Iron Shaft

I would imagine these won't have the tip bending issue that CTaper does. True Temper has a major advantage being able to change wall thickness to reinforce parts of the shaft like the tip where KBS does not. Both make great shafts but they are made in different ways because of this technology.

Im interested to see how these swing weight out and compare in flex to the normal PX and DG X100

So, this new PX shaft. What is its counterpart? THeres 3 pages on this thread and I'm too lazy to read them all with mis-information. Is this shaft meant to combat the X7? C-Taper? Elevate? What? I wonder what the demand / interest is for something that CAN (not always WILL) be fixed by a ball compression / brand change.

Wasn't PXi also low launch low spin and was even around the same time when CTaper was launched? Most people liked the flight of PXi but hated how it felt, much the same as CTaper?

PXi was also satin finish... would this really be an updated PXi?

Or you could just bend your club a degree or two strong and that will bring your spin down. :)

PXI was the light weight version of PX. Consider it like a ctaper lite equivalent.

Loving my PX 6.5s that I've been playing since last Sept. PX 6.5s have been way better than X7s and c-taper 130x for me but these are quite tempting to test out since I could use lower launch and spin still.

Robot testing PX LS 7.0 spun less than X7, original Project X 7.0, C Taper 130......

 

Feel feedback during player testing with PGA players was that the LS felt better (less harsh) than original Project X.

I would love to. I am sure I will at some point. I liked the performance of the pro X shafts when I tried them. Just not the feel. Will have to see how these play out.

I agree, if these are less harsh than the project x with less spin and launch, complete winner. Some don't like the feel of project x, but I don't mind them. You get something a little softer feeling almost like Nippon shafts and sounds great.
