Yes, 5 series is more forgiving than JPX forged. IMO, it goes in order of greatest to least forgiving: HM>5 series>HMP>Forged.

Srixon Europe’s Instagram page says in store 9/19 , so I can’t imagine they would be all the way out to January in the US....

The V-sole is the real deal. If you miss just a little bit fat, like I tend to do more often than Iike, it's a game changer.

Sad to see that Srixon will not offer a 4 iron for lefties. They’re only offering up to 5 iron and then you have the driving iron. I can honestly say I love my 785 4 iron

Wow sounds crazy to me they wouldn't offer lefty 4 irons. although i do play the 765s still up for 5 and then a ZU85 utiltiy / driving iron. Not everyone like the chunky type 4 irons and what a more traditional look.

I called Srixon customer support today and they said not until 2021 for the US. My guess would be Spring 2021.

If that’s true I’d think Mizuno releasing their JPX 921 line in September will be a real gut punch to Srixon sales as they compete directly.....

I think it’s because they refined the driving iron and really are going to push for its sales. That being said my 785 4 iron is really easy to hit and I never used to think that about most 4 irons so personally it’s a little disappointing. I wonder how they will end up pricing the sets too

Someone said the ZX5 irons in the UK are going to sell for $195 /club.  If that’s true, purchasing a JPX 921 over these is a very very easy decision.....

I thought my original reply was to a post asking about the benefit of the V-sole in the new clubs but it may have been lost in the transition.

If no 4 iron does that mean they could of possibly added a LH matching approach wedge for the ZX5?...I generally like my irons to have the matching AW. It's just another full shot club for me. I don't get into the specialty wedges until SW & LW. I'm sure they would sell more of the AW's than the 4 iron. Lefty sales are tough & LH 4 iron sales even tougher.

Agreed, that puts these $25 more per club than JPX forged, or $200 more for a set of 8 irons.  Enough to go JPX unless there was a huge difference in favor of ZX at a fitting.

I’m with you on the 921F/ZX5 price difference - it will steer me towards the Mizuno for sure.  Also here in the US Mizuno seems to have more no upcharge options for grips and shafts.....
