I know, and I'm hoping the same doesn't happen to me, because I've been playing the 785's since they came out and really want to put those 201's in the bag because they look so DAMN good!!! ??Will do - the 201's seem to be the hottest heads around so it will be a great head-to-head against the 785's that have performed extremely well in every category for me all year and part of last year.

Seems like you shouldn’t make that judgment until you have the ability to see it in person and demo out for yourself. No reason to be close minded based on bad pics from the USGA. Srixon has a successful formula so their changes won’t be revolutionary.

I’m so glad @willpeoples let me demo this before I bought these sight unseen. Saved me a ton since I’ll be keeping my 785 until something better can knock them down ZX7 maybe?

Ive gamed srixons before, i know all about them. Excuse me for having a little reaction to a pic that was slightly critical.

Different folks will have different opinions as to which iron is the best between the 785 and the TC 201. 785'S won for you, but for Ian over at TXG, a guy who fits for a living (one of the top fitters), chose the 201's as his personal irons over all other options. So we cant rush to conclusions that one is better than the other because it depends on the person. They are both incredible forged irons, no doubt about that..........

The only criticism I have of the 785's are a little too much offset which makes them slightly draw biased for me.........

Not really all the 5*5s are a SUP10 face welded to a forged body, it has made me chuckle with all the moaning about them having a badge stuck in the cavity cause they always have had.

Tc 201s look like a recycled 07 x-forged. I loved that iron.

Different viewpoints, a slot says to me a hole passing through something solid not a 360° groove at a seam, I don't think it's a slot in the muscle as it's how the face is made and attached to the body.

It has more in common with an HMB or 790 than a 919 forged or Tour Preferred CB.

Why do people complain about pics on a website without seeing the clubs in person or hitting them?

If it's like the previous release they came like 3 or 4 months later I believe.

While I understand what you’re saying and agree, first impressions are important. I care what the clubs look like in the bag but not as much as I care about how the look at address and more importantly how they perform. There’s nothing else to see yet but there’s nothing wrong with having an opinion on initial looks from what we have to go by.

These definitely look like JPX series irons. Not that that's a bad thing...I like the JPX line, but this probably isn't great for distinguishing themselves.

I don't think that they will show them to the public on the 19.09.2020 (as the website says) and than wait with the release/shipping until January.

Sounds l I'm ke the only reason he went with the 201s is because of the lower bounce. Lower bounce is great indoors and the summers. The grinds of the 7 series is what made me fall in love with them. I could see Ian switching back to 7s when he starts playing outside and into the fall.

You’re right about that and I’ve tested both so my conclusion is sound...for my game. Looks hands down go to the Miura.

57 is alot of loft for a "set wedge" Wonder if this means they will be releasing full wedge options?

I kinda wish they would rebrand the Cleveland wedges to srixon

The previous sand wedges have been 57 or 58 with the "A" wedge at 51.

I don't get why you would want them to rebrand away the reason they bought Cleveland in the first place.

Totally agree with your last point. I guess they stick with the Cleveland brand as it's well known but the more traction Srixon gets in NA the more likely I think it is they could dispense with the Cleveland branding. I personally feel Srixon is associated with higher quality.
