2019 Srixon XV and 2020 Tour B XS. Tour B XS is the best ball.. pricey. the XV is almost perfect..wears too quickly.

Been playing the Wilson Staff FG Tour (one or two model years ago) this year, or the Duo Professional. Both are better in the wind than anything else I've been using, prefer the Duo Pro due to the feel.

In the past month I've tried out several different balls trying to find one i like since getting back into playing again this spring after a near 7 year break. In no particular order:

2019 Chromesoft - like it a lot...fits my swingspeed (95mph driver), decent in wind, and good spin around greens....only complaint is it bruises easy

2019 Bridgestone RXS - also like it a lot for many of same reasons as Chromesoft though more durable and may actually get a little more distance.

2019 Srixon Zxv - decent ball but a litle firm/clicky for my liking due to high compression

2019 Taylormade TP5 and TP5x - both okay but not my faves...prefer the TP5x actually even with higher compression and firm feel

2019 Chromesoft X - really wanted to love this ball but found it clicky and less distance than Chromesoft and Bridgestone RXS

2019 Titleist Tour Soft - good ball for me..like it a lot, though not very durable

Am still trying them all and will pick one soon...it's been an interesting exercise. And btw whenever i find a Pro V1 i usually hit it pretty good so could just go with it but wanted to experiment first haha.

2020 Chrome Soft Truvis. Tried many balls again last month - Pro V, Pro V1x, BX, BXS, TP5, TP5x, but nothing felt as good off the putter and wedges as the CS. The TP5 was close, and that would likely be my second ball of choice if needed. But I'm also waiting to try the 2020 Chrome Soft X, if it ever gets to retail.

Yellow Pro V1. Nice ball, just like any Pro v1. Played the yellow NXT Pro S before that and that ball was fine but average length.

TP5x this ball is silly long.

Srixon Z-Star XV off and on, Like it but the Pro V1 and the TP5x are better.

Just got 2 dozen Tp5 pix from 2019. They roll nicely here indoors, should be able to try them outside in a few days.

Playing current version TM TP5. I have about 7 dozen left. I also have 5 dozen latest Pro V1x, which is my preferred ball. I haven't put them into play because my swing has been too inconsistent this season.

Top Flite Hammer Control in optic yellow. I have tons of balls here including premium urethane balls, but all of my best rounds are with that ball.

Good distance and a much softer cover than people expect from a "rock flite" means a good mix for me. Price cant be beat as I got 8 boxes on BOGO do i paid just about $17 for 30 balls.

The other ball I play is a tour yellow Q-Star Tour. I use that if I feel I need the extra grab on the greens. I pick my balls mostly by cost even though I usually go through a round without losing a ball.

Srixon Q Star- Tour. A good economically priced Urethane cover ball that plays well in the wind and importantly, feel great against the milled surface of my putter. Its not soft (can't stand soft) and its not clicky. Just right.

You can get it on sale for under $20/dz. Can't beat that for a quality urethane ball. The XVs are pricier and I don't feel the need to step up to it. I am a 9.3 GHIN and maybe if I get to under a 5 HI, I'll consider something different.

Srixon Z Star - I picked up someone's lost ball while playing. Tried it for a round and converted ever since then... Srixon really winning over my bag slowly... Used to be Pro V1 or NXT Tour player.

I primarily play the Z Star. Have been for a while. Just picked up a few more boxes on Sunday to take advantage of their latest BOGO sale. I've been using that Father's Day promotion the last few years to reload my stock. A top-tier ball for $20... Just too good to pass up. Seriously, at that price-point, why wouldn't you be playing the Z Star or the XV.

AVX or ProV1. They seem to play very similar for me. The proV1 has some more short game spin, but I don’t suffer from too little spin with the AVX.

Tour B-RX, spins low off the distance clubs for good, straight carry and enough off the scoring clubs for stopping power. I used to poopoo the notion of a slot ball, for middle of the road swing speeds, but there's certainly something to the AVX's and RX's of the world these days.

To me it has the same feel and performance as the comparable TaylorMade & Pro V, but costs less $$. l bought the 2019 balls for $30/doz over the winter. And there are 4 boxes of the 2020 Tour XS waiting in the wings (4 for 3 deal earlier this year)
