What ball do you game?

Pro V1, have tried almost everything, and will occasionally buy others I think will suit my game or wallet better for whatever reason, but I always make my way back to a ProV1, just seem to play my best, and more predictable with it.

b) There's a somewhat "famous" and pretty extensive ball test on a certain other site - I'll bet you could find it.

I’ve been playing the Wilson Staff FG Tour for years. It’s really soft, durable, spins well and is long. But the best part is that I’m the only person that plays the FG Tour in my club of 400.

I'm playing the TP5, it has better numbers for me than TP5x and i can get them for a pretty good deal through my work.

I've played the Z Star XV for the last three years (had 10 boxes at one point). Yesterday I broke into my last box. I'm going to be trying the Tour BX and the MTB-X. Ultimately I'll probably go back to the Z Star XV the next time it's on sale. It's such a good ball.

Last week I played 9 holes with a Pro V1X and las night 9 with the TP5. For me the Z Star XV is better ball.

In January I bought 6 dozen UFli Speeds because I was sure my health would finally allow me to play at least once a week again. Then the Wuhan Flu and that was that. Lol

My first round was a disaster, lost at least a dozen balls so when I got home I ordered 3 dozen of the black dot Titleists from Carl’s for $25 and used those to scrap off the rust.

This Saturday I intend to break out some urethane! Lol

Right now, really liking the tp5x pix. Sounds weird, but as I prefer the yellow tp5x, for some odd reason, the pix just seems to perform a little better; even though theyre supposed to be the same ball.

Was playing pro v1x for years. Always liked Bridgestone balls as well, but never enough to make a switch.

Then I found a BXS. I’ve never hit another ball that felt so demonstratively different. Soft, long, clearly more spin.

Spent an hour with trackman to compare. More spin on wedges, same distance with more spin on irons and the driver was 2-5 yards longer on average. I immediately went out and got 3 boxes. Amazing ball.

Rotating between Z-Star XV, TP5X, Tour BX.

Love the Srixon performance for the cost. Have been buying them for $20/dozen. Honestly not a better deal out there.

Tour BX is a great ball. Love the feel, distance, and spin. Pretty durable as well.

TP5X, just flies for me. Haven't played them much this year, but the times that I have, I've been impressed.

Have been a long time Bridgestone player. Love the Tour B range.

Earlier this year on a whim, I tried out the Mizuno RBX Tour, and absolutely fell in love with it. Long drives, superb spin around greens, lovely feel

Am not very price conscious but they are also about 10 bucks less for a dozen. Not as durable, but all balls can get scuffed. Going to play some more with these and maybe switch back up to the B’stones later in season.

Q-star Tours & Chrome Soft - With Chrome Soft being my favorite of the 2.

Tried the different Bridgestone Tour B options this year as well. Just couldn't find one that works for me for some reason.

Currently playing the Srixon Q-Star Tour, mostly due to price. I typically buy 10-12 dozen balls once/every other year and these just happened to be on sale.

 

If I'm playing an event, I'll use the TP5x, which really is my preference.

TM TP5-X. Love the flight off the driver, I’m a fairly high spin player so I like a little less spin from the ball.

+1 for duo soft. You will always be able to identify your ball on the green. The black and red logo looks good and the ball has a nice sound when hit with an iron.

I am testing a box of Duo pros. The pro at the course was bashing Wilson but it works well for me. I use a PW from 20-40 and it still stops on a dime (most of the time). When it didn't is always my fault.

On topic it was a good ball for its target market and I'm sure it still is, now with what they're hoping to be the more appealing name Tour Response. Same same?

I just ordered 10 Z-Star 6th gen 6-ball packs from Golf Discount for $10 each (so $20/dozen), but just curious if there is another source at that price.

Holy balls! I tried out the Snell MTB-X balls. Wow! Long and straight, spinny on the greens, good feeling. @$32 for one doz, I'm in. Also tried Bridgestone B XS. Long and spinny too, but I like the Snell better, and so does my wallet.

That's one deal that just popped up. Normally during their BOGO is when I order a bunch. That deal you got was just as good.
