Diablo Tour 3 piece

Saturday, I went to Dicks to grab 2 grips and on the way out of the golf section these were sitting there 3/$45... I walked right by them but then figured, WTH, why not...

I played this morning using the Diablo Tour ball. I shot a 75. All 75 shots were hit with the same ball and the ball smacked a tree really good also. After picking the ball up out of the hole on 18 I wiped it off and it looks brand new. I gave the ball to my playing partner with a brand new out of the sleeve ball and I asked him to show me the ball I used... he couldn’t.

I can’t believe the durability of the ball. The performance was great for what it is. It’s not the most green side spinning ball, which actually playing a bump and run is my best short game approach.

I was really just happy with the ball on the whole.

I’ve walked past this ball countless times, thought about it, picked up boxes, read them, even pulled them from a sleeve, but never bought them. Good to see some feedback, maybe I’ll even buy some now. ?

They are what they are. A 3 piece distance ball with a soft feel. Not super spinny but enough to play a check and roll out

These are by far the most durable balls I have ever played with. 18 holes yesterday including one Fried egg bunker shot 18 holes today. 150 shots total between the two rounds and the ball looks like I just got it out of the sleeve

Are these similar to the Callaway Hex Tour Soft that Costco sells?

My younger brother plays them. He raves about them like you did. I played the older model years ago and it’s not a bad golf ball. I just prefer urethane.

If it's the same ball they sold maybe 7-8 years ago as "HX Diablo Tour" it was my all-time favorite non-urethane ball. Flew really high, didn't feel "squishy soft" and behaved around the greens about as well as a ball can behave without a urethane cover. Play every single round for about 18 months with them. Right up until I got hooked on Pro V1x

I played again this weekend both Sat and Sunday. I teed it up both days using the same diablo tour that I started this thread with... played all 74 shots on Sat (including fried egg bunker, and right push into brush... it popped out!) and then again with 75 shots Sunday. I teed up sinday with this same ball and put a new one in the ball holder on my push cart because I figured that this ball has been USED and will need replaced at some point. We on the first hole the 2nd ball somehow fell out of the ball holder so I played all 75 shots with the first ball. Coming up 18 I said to myself, if there is any damage on this ball I will toss it on the putting green as I walk into the proshop to pay. Sure enough when picking my ball out of the hole I looked at it... besides the sharpie dot being a little faded the ball is immaculate. Not one sign of wear at all. I am honestly amazed...

I believe I found my ball. I would say i'm going to buy more, but at this point, 1 ball for approx 6 rounds and no sign of wear, It has become a game to see how long these 3 dozen last me.

A little late to the party, but along with the E12 Contact I’m currently testing, this ball is next. Durability is a big plus for me, so the Diablo Tour could possibly win this showdown.

I have been up until last week.  I jumped on the Kirkland Signature train and the seats are too comfy to leave.  With the Kirkland, you are getting better performance at an even cheaper price than the Diablos.

I bought 3 dozen last black Friday and have been playing with them off and on. I do like how it feels, soft but not too soft, and it feels lively off of the face. I wish I could speak to the durability of it, but unfortunately I have been losing balls very easily this year.
