Cameron Champ Covid 19

Trap Junior

Recommended Posts

Since there is a 0% chance you'll ever get the entire U.S to wear a mask and social distance, there is also the same % for the PGA Tour. Most of the players are young, healthy, and would probably be asymptomatic if they contracted Covid. With no way of knowing if folks are asymptomatic, protect the immunosuppressed and move on. Even if a vaccine shows up in 2021, young healthy individuals won't get inoculated. The only solution may be herd immunity.

One needs to be very careful with statistics. Some of them simply do not paint an accurate picture. "Confirmed cases" are almost totally useless. For CV-19 AND the flu - who knows how many cases aren't ever reported.

So is it your belief that had there been NO shut down it'd be no different ? Or would the difference (still ?) fall in the "acceptable losses" region ?

And BTW, this isn't 1969.

The long lasting effects on people who have "recovered" from the virus include cardiomyopathy, abnormal blood clotting, deep vein thrombosis, renal failure, pulmonary embolisms, lung scaring, impaired balance and coordination, testicle damage and infertility, etc.

Only 52% of people who recovered from symptoms requiring hospitalizations have been physically able to return to work.

It might not be a good idea to be cavalier about catching Covid-19, thinking that you'll be OK and it's just get over it.

In addition, the costs of treatment are high and insurers are backing off on coverage. Even if you're insured, you could face a $20-30,000 hospital bill.

Icke believes that an inter-dimensional race of reptilian beings called the Archons have hijacked the earth and are stopping humanity from realising its true potential.[15][20] He claims they are the same beings as the Anunnaki, deities from the Babylonian creation myth the Enûma Eliš, and the fallen angels, or Watchers, who mated with human women in the Biblical apocrypha.[131]

He believes that a genetically modified human/Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians, known as the "Babylonian Brotherhood" or the Illuminati, manipulate global events to keep humans in constant fear, so the Archons can feed off the 'negative energy' this creates.[15][132] In The Biggest Secret (1999), Icke identified the Brotherhood as descendants of reptilians from the constellation Draco, and said they live in caverns inside the earth.[133]

Icke said in an interview:

"When you get back into the ancient world, you find this recurring theme of a union between a non-human race and humans – creating a hybrid race."

"From 1998, I started coming across people who told me they had seen people change into a non-human form. It's an age-old phenomenon known as shape-shifting. The basic form is like a scaly humanoid, with reptilian rather than humanoid eyes."[134]

I also very sympathetic to getting back to work safely during this. I am very protective (wearing mask, glasses sanitizing etc) even working outside, but have underlying issues and can’t bring it home. But I believe I should be back to work as well

But with travel, housing and the simple numbers involved, having more people on site and traveling is just increasing the odds IMO

I am conflicted Adults can make their own decisions just as I have, but the tour is trying to put a product out and on tv. If they have a “spike” and something goes wrong it’s an issue

Herd immunity involves some exposure to the actual virus to build up the bodies immune system to fight off infection. The PGA Tour's procedures and policy regarding COVID-19 is to NOT expose players, caddies, and other PGA Tour personnel by setting up testing to make sure anyone that tests positive is notified to quarantine and stop potential exposure to everyone else.

I gotta tell you, if we start discussing "scam", lizard-people and Biblical Apoch-whatever, I'm betting THIS thread will get shut down like all the others. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Carry on.

Had nothing been locked down there may be a number of higher cases but I don’t think the death toll would be much different based on the various antibody studies done by Stanford, usc and the one in ny and based on what cdc has said. The optics of number of cases scares people. We also don’t know the true death total because the way cases were counted with died from and died with. If someone was admitted to hospice without Covid and then contracted it while there they were counted as a death despot the virus not be the cause. Then unfortunately the numbers are higher tab they probably should have been due to bad nursing home policies in NY and other states. The numbers in MD are between 55-60% of all deaths came from elder care facilities. I believe NY is above 40%.

Sweden and yes Sweden is different from the states but they went the non quarantine route for everyone and 50% of their deaths came from elder care facilities. When you compare Sweden with Ireland Sweden did as good if not better despite the two countries had different approaches.

The medical professionals can’t even agree on what the best method is. Several that have been called controversial have come out to say lockdown isn’t the route we should have gone and but rather the need for herd immunity. There also seems to be disagreements in treatment. There’s a doctor in NY and another in Texas that treated patients with large doses of vitamin d and some other supplements and their patients all recovered including those who were in icu. I don’t recall the doctors name in NY but in Texas it’s Roby Mitchell

You don't think the death toll would have been much different without a lockdown ? How about a few links to USC, Stanford, etc. ?

The latest I've read about Sweden is that they themselves consider their path a failure. South Korea, which closed and isolated asap stands as the single(?) best example of controlling(?) this thing.

Further, it certainly sounds as though you believe the elderly have no use and therefore no reason to be accounted for.

You take care.

capture-jpg.jpgScenario 5 is based upon data up to 4/29/2020 in the US. Move the decimal to the right two spots and read it as a percent. example: 0.074 becomes 7.4%. Interpret as you will. That is from the CDC website. I posted a link in my previous post. The first four columns are based upon different values that range from very conservative (scenario 1) to very worst case (scenario 4).

New Zealand were playing rugby matches in front of 43,000 people with no masks. They closed up shop tight early on. They had had no new cases in 3 weeks. Then a couple of people came in with it to visit an ailing relative I understand. They are doing full contact tracing, so they can pin down who else might have it and quarantining them. Either way, that's just about the best example of how to deal with this thing.

Thats nonsense about Ireland and Sweden. Sweden has been far far worse than Ireland due to not imposing a lockdown. Ireland has virtually suppressed the virus and it is no longer in the community. However there will be a 2nd wave when the country takes a major reopening step on June 29 with restaurants and hairdressers and gyms reopening.

Keep this in mind.

Is the death rate Low for people under 50? Sure.

But, does that matter if the hospitalizations skyrocket?

Texas had 5000 new cases in a day but more importantly, hospitalizations have doubled in 2 weeks. If Hospitals get to ICU capacity, then the medical system for **everything gets crippled.

So, it’s very very important for vulnerable to protect themselves and for **all of us to protect them.

NZ and Australia appear to have done a tremendous job. I actually watched a Late Show episode (in January ?) where Stephen Colbert took his show on the road to NZ to interview the PM.

She was articulate, intelligent and friendly; very well spoken. Seemed to really have her head screwed on straight so I can't say I'm surprised at their apparent success.

Same with Oz. They've got it pretty well under control and from what I've read their PM is suggesting NO international visitors, possibly til the end of the year. No Aussies allowed OUT either.
