This 5 wood is a beast, I hit it the other day. Do not let the cosmetic damage scare you, it is minimal and can NOT tell when hitting.

Not trying to dog you, but how can you say "great condition" and "one cosmetic issue" when there are chips all over the top line and the bottom is melted. This is how BST disputes end up happening.

Also, as an experienced club builder i dont understand how hot melt can melt the rubber insert on the outside of the club. Hot melt is applied in less than 5 seconds and cools down very quickly. The head would have had to have been heated to do that damage.

Quick Math lesson for you guys. He has the full club at $300. Shaft for $250. $300-$250 = $50 for the head. For a tour head, price is not bad considering the damage. The cost of the club is in the shaft and if you do some research on it, you will see the price is fair even with the condition.

Not trying to dog me, you’re just going to come out and call me a liar and blast me for selling a tour head for $50? I’m sure your expert club building skills are far superior to anything else out there, but what I said happened is exactly what happened. This head has seen one shaft in it, so the heat hasn’t seen it. And if that’s what you call chips all over the face, well I guess next time I’ll say ‘not new’. Give me a break.

PS thanks for following forum rules with no negative comments on classified adds. Well played.

I never commented on price, nor am i now. I think your description leaves many, many questions and felt it was best to comment to protect the field. I can't remember the last time i commented on any BST ad, but i felt it warranted some questions here.

Some club builders heat up heads to "disperse" hotmelt and have it set and flow more evenly. This is a bad idea on carbon crowned heads, as well as heads with rubber inserts. A hot melt needle by itself would not melt that rubber.

Appreciate the explanation on the hot melt. That's probably what happened then. I was explaining what I knew.

I don't know how the description left many, many questions but maybe next time you are concerned you can ask those questions instead of jumping in and going straight to criticism. I described exactly what I knew happened with the club and gave pictures to show it. If the pictures weren't good you wouldn't be able to even see the tiny chips you are commenting on. I stand behind that this club is in great condition. It's a 9 out of 10 if it weren't for the blemish from the hot melt. But I know that could scare people away, which is why I'm offering to have the shaft pulled if someone wants the shaft and why I'm basically asking for $50 for the head. The tiny chips you can see on top are not visible at address. You made it sound like I drug the thing through rocks and had sky marks all over it. The club has been hit less than 100 times.

If you have anymore 'questions' feel free to ask them.
