Here is my ranking for those five courses:

 

1) Pebble

2) Spyglass

3) Pasatiempo

4) Poppy Hills

5) Spanish Bay

 

That said, SB has had some pretty cheap deals recently and I am going to try and play it before the end of the year. I have only played it once and wasn't super impressed.

So with Duke's Club for $360 to join you will get a big discount for Spyglass, Spanish Bay and Del Monte and you can bring 3 guests for the same price at Spyglass and Spanish Bay. Del Monte guests would pay a little more except that you will get guest coupons for Del Monte so they would pay the same.

Del Monte = $110, Dukes $48 M-F and $62 Saturday - Sunday

Spanish Bay = $295, Dukes $17

Spyglass - $415, Dukes $240

The short course at Pebble which was designed by Tiger's company will open next year and you usually get a few passes to play free.

I don't know about new members but for current members when you renew you will get a free round with cart for you and a guest.

You get $30 in Del Monte dollars to use in the restaurant or the beverage & food cart.

25% discount on merchandise in the Del Monte Pro shop.

Usually Duke's Club will have specials twice a year with lower rates and include Pebble but this year with COVID there were more specials that included Pebble and you didn't have to stay on property to play Pebble.

The NCGA will have the couple of yearly specials too but their emails will go out a few days after the Duke's email. NCGA doesn't offer daily discounts for Spanish Bay and Spyglass, they do have discounts for Poppy Hills, Quail Lodge and Bayonet & Blackhorse.

I got the same Duke's email and you have to  book Pebble and Spyglass at the same time. My email states that you have to play Spyglass before 1/31/2021 see below.

 

Spyglass Hill round must be played by 1/31/2021 and reserved at time of Pebble Beach Golf Links booking.

Not this time but today I got the Duke's email for the month of Feb.

The AT&T pro-am is in Feb. but there will only be pro's this year and no spectators either.

So you can play the same conditions the pro's play before the tourney and after the tourney at both PB and Spy

Here's the offer

PB = $495 and if you want to book a round at Spanish Bay it will only be $85 if booked at the same time.

Spy = $195

SB = $135

Not yet but the only thing that they had added for Feb. were rooms at The Lodge and Inn At SB that were ~50% off their normal rate.

Latest Dukes email and it looks like they're eliminating Pebble after March 4th.

Pebble $475 and if you book a room for one night at either The Lodge or SB then you get a comp. round at Spy or SB during the same time period.

Playing Spanish Bay this Thursday the 18th on the Duke's rate, will report back on conditions, etc.

 

As the hotels open up I have a feeling all the NCGA/Duke's/one-off/"play Pebble tomorrow for cheap!" deals are going the way of the dodo--which is of course good because it means the virus is starting to be behind us.  But it was nice while it lasted.

 

I remember playing Pebble in May 2020 when almost the entire operation was closed.  I described it to my wife as "zombie golf" because there were only golfers and a few staffers on the property.  When they handed me the ziploc bag at check-in with the scorecard, pencil, and alcohol wipe in it, I knew it was going to be a weird day.  No hotel guests, no people walking along 17 or 18, no shops open, nothing.  Just a golf course and the ocean.  Oh, and a 35-mile-an-hour wind with rain in our face on the 7th tee...

 

But there's never a bad day at Pebble!

You're right about the deals going bye bye when the virus is behind us and  people start traveling again to Pebble from all over.

The last time we were there for a non golfing day was the end of Feb. and my wife and I had a great time. I made a thread in the Courses, Memberships & Travel section with a few pictures and another member was there the same weekend and posted pictures of Pebble & Spy as well in the same thread.
