Thanks!  They are extra stiff but not stepped at all.  My fitter and I tried soft stepped shafts but the shot dispersion wasn't as consistent.

Going back to my New Level irons after a season with the Callaway Apex MB 18s. A little stronger lofted, and I still hit them high enough. Changing the 4 iron spot back and forth between the New Level 902 and Callaway Apex Pro 21 4 hybrid in a KBS Prototype 80S.

The Nordberg longneck is still the gem in my bag, the BGT Stability Tour shaft really made a big difference for me feel wise.

 

Looking for a lighter Vessel back for the quick afternoon rounds, but they are still out of stock.

 

Another change this season is from Pro V1X to the Vice Pro Plus.

Well my WRX friends, it’s been a wild ride! Over the last 12 months I’ve owned 60 different clubs, sold 44, and bought/sold/returned 9 bags to get to this end result!
 

I’ve learned not to say that I won’t change anymore clubs, so instead I’ll say that I feel really good about this setup after getting a fitting last month, and all the trial & error has led to a bag I feel really good about now!

I want to start out by saying that this forum is pretty cool and I check it out almost every day.  It really is a lot of fun seeing all the GolfWRX member's witbs.

My wife and I finally bought our first home this past fall and the deal was always that once we did that, I was allowed to buy a new set of clubs and finally switched from some old Nike VR Pro Combos (2014) to the Taylormade P770s that I absolutely love.   

I grew up playing hockey (Let's Go Ducks!!!  Yes I know we suck this year)  as well as video games and found this amazing SWAG putter cover that encompasses both.  It's probably my favorite thing in the bag and don't know how I lived without it.  Garfield has been on the driver since I played college golf and have managed to find a couple of them on ebay as I don't think they make them anymore.  He's another favorite of mine.  My hybrid enjoys the cover of a custom knit Yoda head cover that my wife made me a few years ago.  I keep trying to get her to make me a Boba Fett cover but she hasn't gotten around to it yet. The P770s are amazing, I love the way they look and the way the ball pops off the face.  They're not much for working the ball compared to my old forged Nikes but they offer a bit more and pop that I've really enjoyed. I play them with the KBS Tour 120 stiff shafts. I used to play an old Callaway Big Bertha 454 driver from 2005 that I loved.  I recently picked up this mint condition Callaway Mavrik single diamond sub zero 440 from Callaway golf Pre Owned that I absolutely love so far.  It's head shape is very similar to the old 454 I used to game for years and I play it with a Tensei Blue 65S shaft.I've only hit these Mavriks a few times on the range since switching from some old Taylormades and really like them so far.  I game the 3 and 5 wood Mavrik Sub Zeros with the Tensei Blue 75S shafts. I have a 3 and 4 Taylormade M2 Hybrid that I go back and forth with.  They're great for a number of different types of shots and have always liked the Taylormade look on these. I play it with a stock Taylormade REAX Stiff shaft. I am extremely picky about my wedges and have tried out a number of different types of wedges over the years.  I recently upgraded from some old Titleist SM4s with the non conforming grooves to these SM8s that I love.  The only thing is I wish these wedges had were a bit sharper groove pattern similar to that of Callaway's. But other than that, they're money.This was the biggest switch for me however something that I've really grown in to.  For years I gamed an old Titleist Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2 34 inch 340g  and couldn't think of switching to anything else. When these came out, I fell in love with the shape and really liked the heavier weight. I took out the original red paint myself and was able to mix some Tamiya blue and clear paint to get this aqua marine blue that I love.  It's also my birthstone and thought it would look cool on the stainless steel. Depending on what I feel like I'll grab any number of these ball marks to play with.  My 4 year old son made me a bracelet and I keep it in my bag for good luck.  Since putting it in the bag, I find the trees a little less often 😜.  The Tin Cup ball mark is really cool on paper but once the ball is marked, looks nothing like what the stencil looks like when finished.  You'll have to finish in the rest to make it actually look like a Jolly Roger. Thank God for these bad boys should the round go t**** up! I generally don't drink too much on the course but if things go awry I'll have a couple which generally settles me down a bit.
