I got to believe most golfers move the ball a little bit while addressing it from the rough especially if it's sort of fluffy, without noticing. They had the camera right on top of the ball where it took up half the TV screen which made it easy to see. I personally think stuff like that needs to be ignored. Besides, the ball bounced back into its original position, at least that's what it looked like to me.

I said knowingly moved it, which I mentioned is impossible. Put if someone intentionally cheated why should they be allowed to keep playing? Obviously not in the rules but it makes sense IMO

The ball moved because he put his club behind it. I've done it countless times. The thing is, when I put my club behind the ball I am always looking at the club - not the hole or Dottie's legs - because I don't want to contact the ball and move it. It's pretty irresponsible to be moving your club up and down in the grass and not looking at it. You would think these guys would be extremely careful. But, then we've seen Patrick Reed go the extra mile and at the end of the day nothing is done.

Ridiculous to have that as a penalty and as far as I’m concerned AGAINST the rules of golf. How can us weekend players play in good faith? Do I need my buddy to zoom in on his iPhone if I’m playing out of the rough?

I like him, great player, but his temper and his whining makes him a whiner and a baby. Watch the Video of Rahm down the stretch in 2016 Eugene, crying whining and melting down. He cost his team a spot in the top 8, and I'm a former Sun Devil athlete (not golf) He will only win a major when everything and I mean everything goes his way...

It wasn't a zoom in after,, it was during live coverage. The camera guy did that several times behind Rahm today.. It is what it is,, it was the second time I saw it happen this round...

Yes, he's had to deal with his temper and not let it ruin his game, but he's doing a good job of that.

He will no doubt have the odd flare up, but then most players have at some time or another. Tiger has slammed his clubs around many times. Rory has thrown one in a lake.
