I still own a 9.5 and a 7.5. The 7.5 head can almost keep up with the newer stuff but I think the 9.5 is just a little more spinny.... Still very forgiving and great looking drivers. My G400 is just longer while being even a little more forgiving. There are some upsides to the newer heads.

910 D2 is still a classic. I still have a couple of heads around. Forgiving, long, and wonderful feel. That said, pound for pound, tee shot for tee shot, I don't think it was as consistent as some of the more recent drivers, like my current Mavrik, the G400, etc.

Great driver. Definitely a classic and a keeper. A little more spinny than my current EPIC SZ, but I could put it back in the bag anytime. Classic feel and sound. It was a hard change for me to the EPIC, but I couldn't ignore the distance gain. Still the most accurate driver I have ever had.

I was fortunate to have an especially hot faced one. I sold it to my buddy and he’s still gaming it quite well. I’ve got dibs on it whenever he decides to sell it. ??

I had 910 D2 and for my game the 913D2 was an upgrade and that’s still in my bag.

Loved the 910D3, played it for a long time and my favorite Titleist driver of all time. However the 2016 M2 was a game changer for me and it is still in the bag.

I played the 910D3 for ages, such a classic line in terms of sound, feel, and looks. I agree that they are a bit spinny and would really need to be lofted way down and struck perfectly to keep up with modern stuff on average, but if they give you confidence and you find fairways then there is no reason to change.

Have a 910d2 9.5 and d3 8.5

Put the d3 back in the bag with a 917 70gr d+ ltd. A bit of lead tape on the sole. Was like an old friend. Keeping it in the bag the rest of the year. Not going to change until I go through a custom fitting.

  • 4 weeks later...

I Bought my 910D2 with a Project X stiff shaft new and it was OK for me. Good not great. I had someone who wanted my Nike SQ 4 wood bad and traded me a Titleist Diamana iLima X stiff shaft for it. It completely transformed the club for me. It's been my gamer ever since. I did stray away last week to see if I could find some more distance and forgiveness and bought a TM SIM Max. I loved the look and feel of that club but I sliced it off the planet with it. Just sold the SIM. Now looking to a TS2 or a 410 Plus next to see if they can take over top spot. I'm also looking for a new 910D2 head as mine is getting chewed up over the last 10 years. Anyone have a LH head they want to sell?

Gamed a 910d2 for the first 2 years of my golf journey. Had a 915d2 and 915d3. Neither were better than the 910.

Hit my longest drive ever w the 910d2 and made for Kai li stiff. Might have hit one almost as long w the original Epic.

Heads got hotter right about the time epic came out and got more forgiving since, but the 910d2 is a classic for the ages.

Never played the 910, but I can relate as I'm still playing the 913D3. I switched to the Mizuno ST190G last year, but eventually switched back to the Titleist. If golf is about managing misses, the Titleist delivers for me. Not as long as the Mizuno, but much better misses. And the Diamana White shaft is like an old comfortable broken in pair of shoes for me. It just feels right.

I was playing a SIM earlier this year and recently switched back to my old 910D3. I honestly haven't seen much change distance wise. My miss is usually towards the toe and I will say the SIM definitely handled that better.
