I currently have some yellow and some white Pro V1x on hand. I use one or the other depending on the mood I'm in, sometimes even switching within the same round. Can't tell any difference whatsoever in performance, sound/feel or durability. I've played the white ones a lot and have around 60-70 rounds with the yellow so if I were going to notice anything between them, I would have done by now.

Only thing I've noticed between white and yellow Titleist balls is the yellow hides dirt and wear so much better. After a round, my white ProV's are looking dingy and worn.

Must admit I only really tried a Pro V1x in anger this season whilst looking for a replacement for my dwindling Nike RZN stocks. I found a dozen of the 2017 model in a local store for £30, so thought I'd take the plunge as the price was decent. Good ball, flies high and stops well, but not as good in the wind as the RZN Tour Black and seems slightly shorter off the Driver for me. I also found the cover not quite as durable as the Nike, with heavy yellowing after hitting trees and a couple of small cracks appearing in them at times. Could be because they are 4 years old, but then my RZN's are the same age and don't suffer in the same way.

Only comparable still available balls I've tried to it are the TP5x and the Tour B XS. Prefer the performance of the Tour B but durability isn't there in the slightest, and whilst the TP5x is a good ball they never seem to last more than 4 holes before disappearing into the trees, never to be seen again.

So I'd say they're probably the best ball currently available, but not quite as good as the old RZNs. IMO, YMMV, etc.

The Dee Three - Titleist TS4 9.5 deg, EvenFlow White 6.5 65g, A1 Setting

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Putter - Nike Method 003 from The Oven

I did a lot of testing back in the day and the RZN Black balls were definitely long. If you want a modern equivalent look at the Tour B X and RX. The TP5x is a good match also but seems you have a problem with losing them. 😬

Always played the ProV1x and I loved it. Then I started losing distance. Been playing with the Bridgestone RXS. Feels soft, got my distance back. Today I played a few holes with the ProVx of 2020 and it was pretty sweet. First hole hit the drive high and long. Hit the 6 iron to 2 feet. I may put them in the bag and start comparing them to the RXS. I love the RXS though.
