And here it is….

Big Nicoll blade, face balanced, with half shaft offset. 380 gram headweight, 67 degree lie and 39”. It feels so solid and stable and rolls it great. I kinda morphed 4-5 of my favorite putters I’ve used in my life into one. I really love the look of it and the feel is fantastic. I’m glad I went with the raw finish without the hand polish. I’m digging the rugged look. There is a lot of tech in this blade. The moi seems very high.

Glad to see you found something you were after and they could do so many specific things to get you what you want. 

 

Also I need to get myself a NCW Headcover, mind came with some generic one and it feels bare.

Mine is going in this weekend, I'm also going to do a quick putter fitting/spec check to see if my specs are in line, hopefully no major changes since I can't bend this NCW but I bought it used and was basically bang on my specs at the time.

Can’t wait to see it. I played a corporate event today with mine and made everything. Honestly I haven’t rolled it this good in years. Very happy with my new NCW.

New Robertson "Mid-Body." Shape is just a little wider vs. the traditional Robertson. Etched NCW Prototype on the bottom which is a little difficult to see in the photo.

That one was yours that Al was posting/teasing? Very nice. I like that their wide bodies are also normal heel to toe length as well as standard width. I like a bit wider of a blade but too many are stubby.

 

 

Also had my first round out with the Boyd had 35 putts on a course that was new to me, so I wasn't quite sure on the greens and what not but had speed control down perfect so left majority of my putts to tap in distance. So it will stay for now.

Still waiting on mine. Payment first week of June, final design confirmed first week of July, could be done in August, could be Sept. Even though it feels like it is taking forever I know that timeline is very acceptable in this industry.

They're really nice but swan neck with no alignment is a small segment I think especially at that price.

I’m still loving, I mean loving my putter. The feel and roll are fantastic and day in and day out my putting has been so consistent. I did switch from the CT Tour shaft that came in it to a more lively shaft. I’m a bit handsy and it helped the feel of my stroke. Head looked pretty B’ ing with the shaft removed.

So I've decided my Boyd will be up for sale soon. The shape grew on me but the specs just don't work for me and I don't roll the ball that well with it compared to others with proper loft. As stated this wasn't a custom I did so not pick the specs if I did now it will be with proper specs.

 

Would I get a full custom NCW? Sure just when, I'm not sure. But I managed to get one in my hands, roll it, see the quality and it's like any other putter. Just 3D printed.

Here's mine that I just got last week the specs as followed: 

 

Morris Tri-Sole

Flow Neck - Half Offset 

355g

71°/1.5°

KBS One Step Shaft

Garsen Ultimate Grip

Oil Can finish

 

I had Al do a gentle topline polish, I didn't want that full 3D print look or full polish look no idea why but also figured it would be a subtle secondary alignment like the Versa alignment Odyssey has but not as drastic. End result I like it as I got that happy medium of both looks and looks great at address. 

 

The face I could have gone crazy but I do like a firmer feel so I just went with a very simple design but I really like the look of it, just a simple plate, a few grooves that are not deep at all but enough to just grab the ball. The feel is a firm muted feel, not clicky at all but I really feel impact and get a pleasant sound and the roll is quite nice. 

 

End results I'm quite pleased, I used it the day I picked it up, I had 18 putts over 9 holes which doesn't sound great but considering I had 1 decent look and 1 tap putt the rest were long lag putts which all lead to fairly easy clean up putts. Maybe once my approach game and wedge game improve I'll see some putts drop.

I just got mine yesterday...headed out to the course today so I'll try to grab some pics.  I had modified Morris Robertson printed.  It's slightly shorter than normal and slightly wider than normal.  It really turned out incredible.  It's amazing how perfectly balance NCW's are.  If you're on the fence, do not hesitate to get started.  My big hesitation was purely the limitless options, but once we got going it was a super fun project to do with Al.

That turned out really sharp. Gorgeous lines and very classy. I have that same face on my NCW and it feels so solid, hard to describe but it’s kindof a dense feel. Hope it works great for you and thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks I'm quite please as mentioned and the face yeah it does have a hard to describe feel but it's a good hard to describe feel. The ball does come off of it really nice which a lot of putters seem to lack lately, they seem to try too much.

Yeah full raw 3D printed metal is definitely rough from the printer but it can be polished to look like normal metal. But if you want a unique look brownie batter is it, just don't lick the putter.

That’s a cool looking mallet. Great morph of the blade front and mallet back flange. Looks beautiful man hope she rolls em in often
