Rapsodo R-motion, great device

I have the r-motion simulator since it was launched to the market, never thought that having an indoor simulator during isolation time could became such a great investment, couldnt be happier with it.

 

I know its not as accurate as more expensive devices, but manages to keep my swing on rythm in this hard time.

 

I wonder why there are so few comments about R-motion here. I play 8 index, know pretty well my distances and effects I can produce, and I can tell that I can reproduce with very aceptable accuracy on course shots, but in my living room :)

 

Are more users around to share experiences?

I picked up the R Motion about 3 months ago for an indoor (garage) range setup, and so far pretty happy with it. I agree it's been hard to find any measure of feedback on its use, and even harder to find confirmation of how to read the data. I'm a 9 HC these days and agree the distances are pretty close, although there are still some quirks to it. I've been trying to confirm how to read the data in the App, as I'm not 100% it's the same as you would read Trackman data. Not even Rhapsody's website or documentation give very clear info on how to read the numbers.

I love the R-motion (simulator version on PC. The iPhone version gives shorter distances).  I have been testing a lot of golf balls and comparing them.  Lots of fun.

I know this is an older post but I had a question for you guys that have the R Motion - Do you get reading from just swinging the club or do you have to hit an actual ball for this to register a shot? I am asking because I also have the R Motion but haven't hit any balls with it yet. I have swung the club with the sensor attached to see if it was working but it's not reading anything.
