In a perfect world, how many days a week would you play golf?

2-3 for me, throw hitting balls 1 or 2 days as well. Ideally it would be Tues, Thursday, Saturday.

I think it'd be nice to hit some golf balls everyday. In my ideal scenario, I could walk out of work and get to the course in a few minutes and have an hour or so to decompress. Maybe play 9 with some friends some days or be more introspective at the end of the range or on the short game area on others.

I once saw Michael Jordan say he plays everyday and 36 holes everytime. That'd work for me.

Twice a week, more if I did not have other interests. Doing what I can to keep several industries and companies going. Like to refer to myself as an adventure capitalist, that is doing a bunch of enjoyable things as I am able to afford such.

I like to play Monday, Tuesday and Friday; or Monday, Wednesday and Friday; or Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, sometimes just Monday and Friday. Never on the weekends to slow. I play in a pretty competitive league on Monday so I have to play in the rain, don't like it but thats the way it goes. I have a range in the garage so I'll practice once a week there or at thre local range.

If it wouldn’t involve some sort of “backlash” from the wife, I’d say 4 times a week with a standing 8:30 tee time.  Maybe a later Friday game with a larger group of the fellas.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be every day in a perfect world.  In a perfect world, there's no waiting and the course moves at my pace.  In a perfect world, my body would be able to handle playing daily.  In a perfect world, I'd roll out of bed at 6am, tee off at 7am with a great group, and be home by 11am to shower and spend the rest of the day with my lovely wife.

I would play every day if I were able to. A few of those days a week would be to practice but I would still spend 3-4 hours out there practicing.

If it were a perfect world golf wouldn’t be fun. I’d have a perfect golf swing and never hit a shot offline . Putting wouldn’t even be necessary. No, golf in a perfect world cannot exist. But if I could golf in this imperfect world as much as I wanted, the answer is twice a week.

I had 2 weeks off work  no kids and wife away and most I could  played was 4  /7 days

 I have to recover from muscle soreness and frustrated rounds  in order to bounce back

I'd hit 50 balls everyday.  I'd talk trash with the older members idling around the driving range and I'd probably play a quick nine twice a week and tournament on Saturday.  I'd take Sunday off LOL.

5-6 would be amazing. I used to do that in the summer months when you could easily play at night after work. 

 

Single man life usually meant - gym before work, work, home, dinner, golf was the routine Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday then Saturday and Sunday was usually a game both days. Unsurprisingly, when I was playing that much, I played the best that I ever did play. The only thing that would stop me from golf was bad weather or DOMS from hitting leg day at the gym too much.

Probably play 3 times a week but not on successive days. I've gone on buddy golf trips where I have played 5 successive days & it just gets to be too much. I like to take a day or two in between rounds which gives me time to miss playing. Playing too much leads me into mental & physical golf fatigue.
